View Full Version : [Gameplay] Rune strength based on game time.

Early runes are too storng and last too long, which makes mid fight very random.
The later the game the more strong rune is.
Possible bring back 0:00 rune as they would be weak and wont affect game much.
numbers are random made up. Rune gets buff every 3 spawn.

Invis: 15-60 seconds 0-48 minutes in the game, rest = 60 sec + movespeed bonus.(alternative - lasts 60 seconds, from -20%ms to +20% ms while invis)

Regen 5-30 seconds 0-48 minutes in the game, rest = each dmg hit gives 1/2 of regen rate, dissapears at 5 hp/sec

Haste : Fixed ms bonus. +70 - +300(can be slowed). after 48 minutes = Can not be slowed.

Illusion : first 2 levels of spawns only spawn 1 illus. duration 25-75 s. After 48 min = takes 0% additional dmg.

DD : 150-200% dmg. 20-45 sec duration. After 48 minutes = nothing, strong enough rune.

New rune idea : Spell DD. Or cast speed increase rune rune.

DD in begining is a lot less dmg then later in the game. I mean its +35 dmg for example at 2 mins comparing to increase in hundreds of damage later in the game.
Haste and invis will affect your char but you are still only as good as you are.
And regen is ... most people will use it to regen everything to full on all lvls anyway.

Like above said. Runes may cause a semi-random early game, but it is a reward for going out of your way to pick them up.

who cares how much dmg it gives when its still 2x more than enemy has?
35 dmg is dmg of ss with no items other heroes got 50-60 dmg, dd lasts 45 sec, if you are ranged you just force enemy out of lane and he cant do anything with that, if you are melee you just get all lasthits .

with my change you cant regen fully at early levels. and on a bit higher levels you cant use it to spam spells for free.

anyway.
haste got insane advantage in early game not only you overcome your enemies by 150-200 ms, but also can not be slowed, thats hardly "as good as you are"
i hope s2 doesnt judge on suggestion by poll at least, since its not restricted from clueslessness, no offense.
