I think it would be a good idea to make a Welsh/Wales flag on account symbols because we do exist. We also don't like being assumed to be English. Unlike our fellow Britons, our national flag doesn't exist in the Flag for Great Britain at all. That flag consists of the English, some Irish and Scottish flags overlapped. This is the Welsh flag, and quite frankly the most bad-arse flag of any country.

I don't understand why almost every country has a flag available in the Hon store, with the exception of most Arab countries. Yet Israel has their flag readily available. The fact that the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq plus various others do not have flags clearly points to racism on the part of the Hon team. I believe that this is beyond contemptible considering Hon brings together numerous people from around the globe all with different nationalities and backgrounds to work together as a team.

Just goes to show how little S2 cares about diversity, the Hon community is a multicultural one, with members spanning from all corners of the globe. I totally agree with you N3wbi the lack of Arabian Flags clearly points to racism, this coupled with the fact that numeral flag requests have gone unanswered for months. I now pose the question .... as to why there is a dedicated thread for flag requests in the first place, if they're all simply ignored. Flags are not subject to copyright, and are simple enough to create.... why the extensive delay??
It's simply because of S2's palpable discrimination.

It is not right for s2 to be selective about what flags are available
If they're going to have some flags and not others, they shouldn't have any flag symbols to begin with. There are more countries to the world than just those of the west, yet it's fascinating how all the western countries have their flags available but not those of the east .....

Why is it that when people don't get what they want they start throwing wild accusations around.

Flags are cheap. They cost merely 50 gold coins. Flags are never gonna net them as much profit as anything else they make. Even if everyone would buy a flag, it would still not give them as much profit as a single alt avatar.

As a company, S2 has to make choices as to where they invest their time and money. They also track where their players are from and which players spend money on gold coins. If they decide that they are making a flag or not, it's NOT out of racism or discrimination, it's because it will not be worth, in monetary terms, their time.

As for the reason why this thread is here, it's quite simple. If everyone started making a thread for their own flag, the suggestion forum would be flooded with those, making other suggestions hard to see. It also makes it a lot more simple to browse trough IF they decide to implement more flags.

Number 1 rule to any successful business is customer satisfaction, the puny cost of a flag becomes redundant, when weighed up against the demand, which from looking a this thread is clearly immense. Although they do only cost 50 coins, if say half the hon community spent 50 coins each that will add up to a substantial amount, considering the little time and effort involved with making the flags available in the first place when compared with an alt avatar its EASY MONEY.
I’m a university student and this is plainly evident to me, S2 is an established company with qualified staff members, the reasoning behind the lack of flags is thus either discrimination or complete stupidity and I personally think it's the former rather than the latter.

Same here. Since we asked for Québec flag, about one or two years ago, we never got satisfaction. I was tempted by some new alt avatars, but I'm not giving any money to a company that doesn't respect his fans from other nations.

It took not only the DDoS attacks but multiple videos on YouTube, for S2 to simply recognize the second most populated country in the world with over 1 billion people......
Come on S2 this is utterly pathetic, quit with the racism and make available the flags of our nations!!

I couldn't have said it better myself No0bi. Clearly S2 doesn't value diversity, and this thread within the forums is never checked and thus utterly redundant.
I ask when was the last time Drasha bothered to review this section.......? There are new updates weekly, and never has one included a flag suggested here.
I've purchased gold in the past, but never again, unless S2 pulls it together and updates their array of flags.
I urge all others who oppose this injustice to do the same.

Yes, but there is also a flag for England only. Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland =/= England. If you visited those countries you'd notice a significant difference.

What you say is that any European country doesn't need to request their flag as there's a flag for Europe.

Burger King sent me gifts worth of 100 $ just because I had a small issue with a staff member. ( answering the dumb guy defending S2's actions )
S2 guys are not even answering simple demands, that can be considered as discrimination. That is preposterous, very unprofessional, and most likely the result of lack of education. It goes against all what Business stands for!

It's very easy, I'm waiting HON 3.0, if I don't see my flag in it, I will consider it as discrimination, and I will stop playing. That simple. No need for qq no nothing. Other people ddos, I just leave. I follow what's best for me as a gamer, I follow my god damn interest first. And my gaming ego says, I will not wait like a fool for my flag while other people shove their own up my ass every game

I just stopped playing, mainly because of the flag issue. I'ts been more than 2 years since we asked for flags for everyone, and we didn't even have an answer for S2 staff explaining why. For me it's simple, I don't feel respected as a player from a different nation, so I'm stopping to play. It seems to me that it would be very easy to implement new flags, a lot more than alt avatars I (and many others) don't care about.

Actually Im a legacy player, I paid for this game....

please begin to add some the of the flags in this thread. A player made a rant post in the General forums asking with strong language for the Scottish flag. It was locked and he was was told to post in the suggestion forums. Ironically, it appears you never read this or look here. You could be doing this, but show signs that YOU DO.

I request again for a Scottish and Welsh flag.

There is a British flag and an English flag, so why not those other two? It makes absolutely no logical sense.

You ARE entitled to never add any flags as it's your game. But we as a player base ARE entitled to get angry about it and complain when asking nicely comes tedious. If you wish to retain interest in your game when rival DotA clones appear, perhaps listen to the player base and add their flags, not rename a Hero whose original name was fine]. Stop doing the easy jobs towards pleasing the player job and get your hands dirty. You recently added a Community-Assisted balance patch, this means you are able to listen to the right people.

Hi S2, I'm still looking for the flag of my country, Québec, which represents the french speaking community in North America. Some english Canadians may say that Quebec is just a province of Canada among the 10 provinces, but they are wrong. They are often jealous about Quebec uniqueness and amazingness, so thats why they are always angry at our will to be presented seperatly from Canada.

England has the right to be presented without all the British Union nations (Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), why does Québec, Scotland, Catalonia, Tibet, etc. don't have the same right ? Les Québécois form a big HoN community, if you give us our flag, you will surely please thousands of HoN players.

Still waiting for the Welsh Flag.
You have the British Flag and the English Flag but no Scotish or Welsh (lesser extent Isle of Man and Wight).
Currently it's like having the European flag and the French flag but no other European countries.

For a start the Welsh flag is a Dragon and didn't even represented on the UK flag.

as a legacy player myself i actually believe that making this game free will be the death of it. ever since it went free to play players don't take the game seriously and they don't care about bans or anything. and it also mean that even 7+year old's are also playing this game and ruining it for the rest of the comunity. they somehow need to make this game serious again cause i am sick of playing with kids that leave/rage/go afk/grief or in general ruin the game
