Why do people think Midas is tanky?

I mean Aluna, Hellbringer or Martyr have a similar strength gain - as does ~75% of the agility hero pool - and there really is nothing else besides that that could make people consider him a tanky hero.

The only good thing that could come from this would be that we might end up seeing more Defiler and Soul Reaper carries now. Which I'd like :D

What? Midas has the same Str gain as Zeph, but Midas has +3 starting strength on him and he has 3.2 armor (also super high, especially considering that he is ranged and tanky by nature).

I think its safe to say that he is tanky.

I think its safe to say that he is tanky.

But Zephyr has a self-heal and an evasion/damage reduction passive, while Midas has nothing.
Also Zephyr has the much higher agi gain (~1 per level more?) - so he's obviously going to be much more tanky than Midas, who has nothing defensive/tanky, safe for his lvl1 stats.

NH has 0.2 strength gain less than Midas, ~3 more base armor and 1.5 more agi gain (so basically twice the amount). So even that guy is much more tanky in the long run.
