Nomads 2nd skill seems to be bugged.
As the description saysthe same for true strike and mirage strike:
"deals your attack damage plus 180 physical damage"

though both skills should deal the same ammount of damage.
Well They do not.

Mirage strike seems to add only some % base damage.

True Strike adds the WHOLE attack damage + modifier.

resulting if nomad got shield breaker lvl 3 he deals about 400 minitial damage to a 4 armor target and grants 80 attack speed. wich sounds rather op?

I d be interested what u guys say to that

As far as I know the illusion for mirage strike does not apply attack modifiers, so you will indeed do more damage with W than with E.

Repro'd in game

Level 1 Nomad with level 3 shield breaker
124-128 base damage
level 1 mirage strike
60 damage

Target: Level 1 Pebbles (1.5% damage reduction with armor) 114 (avg) damage with Mirage Strike (180 expected)

Target: Level 1 Pebbles (-29.9% damage reduction affected by Shield Breaker) 230 (avg) damage with True Strike (234 expected)

True Strike adds the WHOLE attack damage + modifier.

Add a bulwarks into that and =)
That same nomad hits that level 1 pebs for 645 damage at level 7.

How is 400 damage that overpowered? You should know that it's Physical damage and how it scales.

Anyways, the True side deals your damage and modifier. And the Mirage side deals your base damage(from stat, but not from direct +damage) and doesn't apply your modifier. All other reason are for balance reason.

The tooltip is wrong. In mirage strike it should say 100% of base damage instead of 100% of damage.

That's what I thought too. I didn't call it out because I was unsure. Makes sense that his illusion would follow the same mechanics as other illusions.

Yes, but it would be nice if S2 were not misdirecting people with tooltips.

If only there was a thread someplace that was directly responsible for updating tool tips..

(Looks at the first thread on this page)

And how often does that get done? Hell, the FA ult got changed weeks ago and it's still wrong. Why doesn't S2 just change the tooltips when the skills are changed?

Rhetorical question, I know how S2 works.
