Sometimes I see people refer to their ultimates as 'ss'.
For example, from a Behemoth I played with last game:
"Ok guys come bot, I have ss"
What does ss stand for? Super skill? Someone enlighten me what this acronym means, please?

SS is some way of saying that someone is missing aswell apparently
but otherwise i have no idea

I have never in my history of playing HoN or DotA heard anyone say SS, except when referring to SoulStealer....
If that Behemoth was the first and only person you've heard say that, then I think he was just being dumb... If anyone knows an actual meaning of this, I would like to know.

I've seen a few people say like "ss mid" meaning missing, but never knew what it actually stood for, been wondering for a while myself :p

"ss" is just a faster way of typing "miss" or "missing" afaik.
note that the reason it's "ss" and "re" is that those keys (S, R, E) are very easy to hit with your left hand and quickly hit enter with your right.

hmmmm guess that works. Explanation makes sense to me anyway.

Its just miss without the "mi".
Quicker to type so less risk of you dying while you hit the enter key.

Edit, as proposed by Merlyn402: SS can also mean StormSpirit, although its rarely referred to as SS, more often as Cyclone or something like that.
