Also, does the fact that this was released on a Tuesday mean we'll get 2 heroes this week? (because Monarch won't come off of EA, but we need a second EA hero, so to get a new hero, Gemini would be released for free for legacy player, while another hero would enter EA to be released 3 weeks after Monarch).

How would geometers work on Gemini? My guess is it would be like this:

- activate without ult: 3 Gemini illusions (duh)
- use before ult, ult afterwards: 2 Gemini illusions + red & blue wolf
- ult, use on red (blue) wolf: 3 red (blue) wolves, 1 blue (red) wolf

Combine this, and you can get 3 red and 3 blue wolves running around in teamfights. Add refresher for more lulz.

Note: this is assuming that items get duplicated when ulting. The video doesn't seem to give too much information about that though, unless I missed it.

Also they noted nullfire is good with this hero. I can't disagree, but you can't use items when split, so i'm thinking we may not see as much geos with him as people may think, and if you want the nullfire for purge it may not always be there for you. Basher will be sick tho

You lose stun time, nuke damage, item use and passive autoattack boost. You get x2 damage if you get both wolves to hit someone, and the stun becomes targeted.

You don't have meepo's root to surround someone and stuck them with minions.

Wow, please tell me you are not that dumb?I never noticed that Sill dies if you kill her illusion, how could I miss that. Also Gemini cant use items when split into two, looses his passive double strike and stunduration on skill...

And geminis stats and statgains are awesome right? I assume you know because you are posting thoughts about balance. Doing that without knowing stats or any numbers on anything would be just plain dumb, so I assume you have inside info.

No I would suspect the split wolves would have set stats independent of items, like DotA Panda's ult.

How is he unkillable?
If one of his wolves dies, he dies.
He has a semi blink with low range, hard to aim stun.

He seems like he'll play like magebane. Can deal a decent amount of damage early game (people underestimate mana burn), needs a lot of farm, can escape, dominates in pubs.
So you just need to learn how to keep him down, two of his abilities are boosted by items (his split state gets stats, right?) so just don't feed him and gank him a lot. His blink is no where near as good for escaping as Magebane's.


He'll probably have pretty **** stats too, to compensate for the whole double attack thing.

Madman has invis with slow and nuke. Also crits and ulti that let him scratch your face off real fast. Not a stun, and mm is still strong even seen in competitive last time i checked some matches.

Soulstealer has 3 AoE nukes. Are you seriously saying that SS n ukes arent completely batshit insane, they do more damage in a aoe than a lvl 16 pyro ult at lvl 7, and the only reason SS is "balanced" is because you could potentially gank him all game long. Stop ganking him for a few min and bam he is back to 400 gpm.

Oh look!! Chronos has slow/blink. Built-in bash, chances to recover health on damage and OMG!! Stop Time AoE!! Yea and that slow blink is his strongest skill... Also since when is CHANCE to do something on hit good?Its retarded praising soemthing like that, on the other hand BLINK + STUN , is it comparable to blink + slow?

Valkyrie has a leap, AoE Nuke, Nuke + Stun that requires some skills and experience to land properly. And anothe one. Valk has a leap that gives you minor bonuses. Wolf has a stun leap? Valks nuke is a strong skill wont argue there, but also look at that, valk is one of the most use champions you retard, guess why? Because she is strong as ****.

I bought it because it did look cool and now i want a refund. Four games with it just for practice in No Stats and 1 kill. No joke even Monarch beats Gemini in kills (even though shes a weakling).

You basically cant really use the ulti as the only useful spells are on Gemini. Try to escape a team gank in fire and ice form literally doubles your chances of being caught. Besides this you use your stun in a team fight and being a weak 'agi carry' cant wait the stun's 14 second cooldown to use it to escape. Dont expect to survive if you get heavy lane harrassment either. The stun is quite unreliable as well with a very small area of effect which requires impeccable timing if your target is moving.

The two wolfes 'fire' and 'ice' you turn into when you use ulti are hindered by an activation time and the fact killing one kills you. The .5 second stuns and slows on each wolf dont help in the slightest. And even the teleport the wolf to the other wolf spell has an activation time and doesn't when the wolf is stunned. Im sad to say that this has got to be the worst hero i have ever played.

If you can't play him like a ganker play him like any other hardcarry FARM till u get imba and win.
he is indeed hard to play but ull learn eventually
went 20-0 my last game with wolfie still got lots to learn though but it aint impossible :)

The potential with this hero is quite huge, but the skill ceiling for it is rather high too. Basically you can one farm on 2 lanes, farm on 1 and gank on other, farm a lane while healing up at the well with the other wolf and so on. This makes this hero multifunctional and while he can be hard carry late game is very very decent ganker in early to mid game.
The fact it's quite hard to play brings the people who complain it's bad hero here, while I think it's a very good hero to have in the right situation - when the enemy has more squishy set up.

I don't see DM being picked much after the initial "new hero, must pick!" phase ended.

Blink, Disjoints, Nukes, Slow, Dots, Stun, Heavy Dps, Awesome Passive and all I see is nubs complaining about how shitty this hero is? HUH? WTF?

The Hero can Nuke you for 860 magic damage in level 9...
Just use Twin Breath and Twin Fangs in Wolf Form, Ult (Fire and Ice) the use each wolf separately Fire Breath and Fire Fang for Fire Wolf, Ice Breath and Ice Fang for Ice Wolf... It takes a little bit of skill and timing but any Experienced player can do it Fast and Easily.

So really... You are telling me that this hero in lvl 9 can do more Damage than Witch Slayer's lvl 3 Silver Bullet?

No worries my friends because this hero will get Nerfed unless S2 Games lost their minds. :wret::wret::wret::wret::wret::wret:

I agree that he's fun to play, has many great abilities and micro-ing the ult isn't too bad once you get use to it.

The biggest downside I've noticed which is something many carry heroes have, is that his blink/stun and ult definitely have drawbacks. Using the blink to initiate leaves him pretty open to get locked down. He feels squishy like many carries too, making frostwolf, shrunken, etc all attractive to give you a batter chance of walking after a team fight.

The ult creates more targets of yourself which makes certain aoe's hurt even more :balp::behe:. It's not all a bad thing tho, really makes the player have to think ahead in how the team fight will go. I'm still getting a feel for all the things his ult can disjoint. I.e. oh sorry there :bomb:, where'd your bomb go? I eated it?

All in all, I like this hero quite a bit.
