judging by testies facebook he was under the impression he was going to dreamhack
chu never once let him know that he wasn't until it was obviously too late
so he strung him along and used him
its also funny because testie mentions that bdiz is the most important player on the team
I don't think chu in his rusty state would have even won the qualifier to dreamhack without Testie & Bdiz

Bkid can play whatever, with Testie you're pigeon holed into a gameplan that doesn't fit what EZ does. They're an aggressive ganking/roaming team, and I never understood why they would pick someone up who literally can't and doesn't want to play that style.
No clue what went on with Bdiz. I like Yoda but if you're gonna relegate someone to support, I'd rather have Bdiz than Yoda...

You honestly think that Fray would have beaten Chu-Korok-Yoda-Semi-Fuji lineup? Pretty sure Fuji hadn't gone mia already by then, but even if he had Bkid had come back already aswell.
Not supporting the shadymelonz -move in any way as I enjoy watching Bdiz and Testie play (Bdiz #1 Ophelia!), but I highly doubt they wouldn't have won one of the later qualifiers even with "weaker" lineup.

He lost mid to a 1490... He then proceeded to sit mid until 15, not porting once when his mid ganked top, took top tower, ganked bot, took bot tower, 5 went bot took 2nd tower, Testie sat mid.
Oh he was on Andro... While the the one poor guy who got solo Q'd with "Team Testie" was *****ing about what everyone who was watching already knew. Testie would rather play with/versus the AI, then with human opponents/teammates.
You get what you pay for I guess...

you guys should take a look at the NASL player stats on honcast.com (surprisingly enough it is a good article)
I find it very odd, that they can't "use" a player like that, which has obviously carried ez in for example NASL. He has the 2nd highest average gpm of all players, least deaths and most kills per game on average.

hilarious thread. I'm not a fan of Testie, i'm not a follower of his stream, and I hardly ever watch it. Testie played some pretty damn good HoN while with EZ and was a very solid carry. To say otherwise is pure retardation and blind.... anti-fanboyism? I never actually argued that it was a "dick move" for swindlemelonzz to screw over his teammates and try to defend peter/sneyking. In reality, I don't really care. The reason was said in this thread a couple times. Testie is not going to Dreamhack cause Chu wanted his friends there instead of the players that won the games that brought him there. Testie wasn't kicked, he left because of what I just said.

I dont get why Testie would get chosen over someone who has already proven to have great LAN Experience (winning quite a big prize pool in Singapore).

Who is the team Captain? Its obviously been chu for the past 2-3months, he can choose what he feels is the best lineup, or his friends... Testie joined the team, he wasnt forced.
Nothing against Testie, me and him have always been cool and I loved playing with him on SK.

That's not really a justification.
I just fail to understand how this is any different from the Peter/Sney/Swindle incident. Swindle ****s over Peter/Sney with the argument that they dragged the team down, 30 page thread is made. You're looking at this from the wrong dilemma. Bkid coming back the most obvious thing to do is bench semijew, another guy who can only play behe/mag well, but because semijew doesn't have a stream to support he can feed all day with chu and farm that DHW spot. Chundlemelonz'd.

HoN competitive scene is a joke because some players fall under the influence of the regular forum posters (in reality trolls/attentions whores) and try to make drama of everything. Roster changes are a regular thing in most games and rarely is there any drama involved, people move on. If there is any drama involved, it rarely goes public cause players act like they should, professionally.
I never understood why it's OK for HoN/DotA/LoL community to be so retarded under the justification that "it's just how it is", while other communities don't tolerate that and weed out the retards from the get-go. One can not, CAN NOT, try to argue that the game as a whole and the competitive scene would be worse if the forums and the game was heavily moderated.

All communites say their own community sucks etc. Just ask a WoW player. I like HoN's community. Most people I have met are friendly and help out if they can. Maybe it's your attitude that's wrong and not other people?
