So, me and my clan have been scrimming/tmm 5 man BP alot lately and we have been using/facing nymph quite alot.

We seem to get a good advantage by picking her over any other support, since her ulti works so well with any blink initiator.

So my question is: how do you deal with her? how can you avoid getting caught/ganked, never leave towers/base? try to ward all over the map? go together as 2-5?

I just want your opinion because i am struggling with finding a plan on dealing with her ult.

Do not move this thread please. The reason Im posting it in this forum is because i know there is actually alot of good and decent players here unlike GD -.-'

You still get the minimap sprite when she channels her ulti. It's tiny and short-lived (duration is channel time) though. If you're farming neuts so last hitting doesn't matter just watch the minimap.

Make the Nymph player rage quit before (s)he hits 6.

I guess the smartest thing to do would be to op for a push style team.

Turtling encouarges ganking, so if you have a team that consist of poly, ophelia, slither, kraken etc etc etc she won't even have the chance to gank cause she'll be defending.

Get wards up, and don't farm to far out alone. It's like playing against a rampage

make sure the hero nymph ports with doesn't get to do anything, beside wards and all the other stuff of course :)

That or a nearby fayde, and don't position yourself too close to the trees nymph is more likely to port into, so she can't easily follow-up stun whatever stunner she brought with her.

If you're playing BP, ban her/pick her up on your team. If they pick her, pick a push team. If they pick her and you aren't able to push very strongly, stick together and watch the minimap hardcore.

Fayde in reflection form does get decent clear-vision but you can not waste the skill for scouting early on (as it is only 20 seconds with a 90 seconds cd). Tundra's bird on the other hand can be kept up for the entire duration.

Fayde's clear-vision only plays a decent defensive scouting role when she hits level 16, where she can scout for 50 seconds with only 10 seconds down-time to go again.

Pretty much this, dont have anything to add. Maybe tundra shiver or scout eyes..

Several ways to deal with it, all of which require you to be very aware of the map and normally win the warding war. Or you can force her to be roaming around lots, get your "key" heroes to beefy to gimp before you can react by the time she hits 6. Overall she is basicly the support version of pebbles, she snowballs her teams advantage out of control. If she can't get rolling she feels useless, however she is still one of the strongest support without the abusive ulti.

Change ward positions to the more common gank spots

Play some mind games. Bait them.

Let them think you are alone, but your team stands ready nearby. Easy double kill.
