So the new :glad: model is out and the general consensus (minus the whip not showing when its active >.>) is that it is fantastic; with the exception of the arena and pitfall colours. The arena and pitfall is still in :glad: old brown and stone colour and doesn't match the colour scheme of the new model.

Would a recolour of the pitfall into a nice teal/aqua/turquoise be too much?

I know the model just came out, but I'll probably be vanishing for a week or so and I wanted to post up a request while the idea was fresh.

A thousand and one thank-yous in advance.

OT: Whoever undertakes this, what do you use for colouring and textures (if not Photoshop), as I'm trying to learn.

Arena having a whirlpool like Kraken's ult or his old ult(Size reduced to not be massive) and pitfall could be the same but explode.

I'd even be content with that kind of look, but S2 really slacked off on those 2 skills.

Edit:
Oh man, people mentioned the idea of a shark for Showdown. How great would it be to have a pool of water at the cast location with a shark circling and then they get pulled back into the effect. While Pitfall is a pool of water with a geyser at end effect. They really needed to do something more. T_T

Getting those models would be tough for most modellers, whereas a recolour could suffice really.

EDIT:

I may or may not have convinced a Shippy to tweak his other spells. You won't see the changes till the next patch though, but it should be worth it :O

Tweaking pitfall wouldn't be bad, resizing Kraken's pool and making a blue explosion similar to what you'd expect from Bubbles or Kraken's splash. Something for Showdown would be tougher, a recolor would work for that.

Blue spikes just doesn't seem to fit right in my mind. XD
