TiredOfDying

So, in the past week I've encountered a problem that I cannnot hear others VOIPS (even though I know they work), and they cannot hear mine, although my overhead light lights up while talking.
I've restarted HoN, My PC, reinstalled, set all settings customized, and default, only reinstalling it had any change, and only for one game, then it went back.
I've done this:
1. Go to My Documents/Heroes of Newerth/Game
2. Open up "startup.cfg", scroll down to 'SetSave "sound_disable"' and change "True" to "False". Save the file and close it.
3. Run HoN and go to Options.
4. Option "Disable Sounds" should be unchecked and a list of Sound Drivers available.
Although my sounds were not disabled, so it didn't require a change.
I do have a USB headset, but I've had the same USB headset with no change to it, or my sound card for almost 2 years now.
I can't hear my teammates, and they can't hear me. This is a problem.
Before you ask, no. Disable teamchat or whatever is not on. I changed no options and lost VOIP in game.
PS- My mic pics up fine during the microphone test, and all of my inputs/outputs are proper.
