Is here a way to get the neutral creep that you dominated to automatically follow you around or do you have to manually move them around with your hero? Thanks.

Select the creep, right click your hero, it will now follow you around but will not attack automatically

I usually find it much more useful to let the creep in hold position at a strategical place, such as the entrances of the woods, than to tank for me. At least from the minute 20-25 on.

Our use them to stack creeps.

Our use them to stack creeps.

What's the purpose of creep stacking? To use them all at once in battle later?

auras!

but they're all very fragile late game and microing them to be out of sight is kinda hard.

Creep stacking is to pull them from their "dens" near the minute mark, so even if they are alive, new ones will respawn. By doing this continually, you end up having many times more creeps at the same place.

When you play some heroes, mainly Moon Queen, you will have a fairly easy time killing all of them in a short period of time. It means you'll kill sometimes 10 times more creeps spending roughly the same time you would just to kill one group. Therefore, you'll have 10 times experience and 10 times the gold.

The point is there are lots of times you won't be able to be in the woods. You'll have to be pushing, defending or ganking. Therefore you won't kill the creeps in the woods, and won't allow new ones to spawn. So it would be, in a certain point of view, a waste of gold and xp. The same as leaving a lane empty. By pulling creeps you minimize this loss, and are able to make up for the time you spent other than farming in the woods.

Legionaire and Hammerstorm are also poster children for creep stacking.

Use your neutral creep that you got from whispering helm to pull the ancients everytime that you think about it, you pull them around :54 or :55 of each minute by moving your creep near them to drag their agro onto your creep and then quickly running away from them, the creep spawn will stack while you're still farming the lanes or smaller creep spawns into the jungle till you get enough strong to kill them quickly, it will give you a ton of exp and gold. Creep pulling in HON is MUCH easier than in dota, in dota you could possibly stack them 4 times at most.. but now you can possibly stack them 6-7 times.. maybe even more.

Fast forward to 2:55, Moon Queen creep pulled them many times with her neutral creep that she got from whipsering helm. However.. the other team saw it, that's something you don't want to happen but they still managed to get most of exp/gold from it before that the Legion team (QuC) got there.

So you can either kill them solo or you can ask your team to come help you kill them, it's as you wish. But usually in pubs it often happens that someone will just go there and kill them even tho that it was you that was creep pulling them, if that happens.. don't lose hope and keep doing it.

You both dont know what creep stacking is by the way. Its not stacking dominated creeps, he means stacking neutral creeps, read the post above.

Maliken is pretty amazing at it with his ult.

Avoid double-posting since I won't want to merge them again in the future.

@topic: any splash, moon queen or legionnaire will do. However unless you are playing with a polite team they will waste all of your work and kill the creeps before you do, as Cherry pointed.

To avoid the other team killing the stacked creeps - and I think that's way worse than your teammates stealing you, you could stack the creeps nearest to the mid lane for the sentinel/legion.

Just keeping your dominated creep near the satck works most of the time. Or anythign that gives you line of sight. Then you have the chance to jump them as tehy try to kill the stack.
