And the original model is not female at all. I understand why if you refer to the alt avatar, but its like saying Glacius and Pyro are female

Even though no one wants to answer OP.
I would assume that someone tried her/him out, and they won the game. The copycat industry in theese games are beyond godlike. Just like when Tarano tried out Aluna, everyone tried out Aluna. Or when Trixi tried out Kraken. Or when X tried out Y.
