Host invisible

I was just in a lobby, and when I tried to join a slot, it would join then leave quickly. I couldn't see my name on the side either, and whenever I spoke it was as one of the players already in the lobby.

I was host and I couldn't use any of the privileged, start game, ab, etc.

Can you find a way to replicate your issue?

I don't know, I will try and post results if I do. The bug happened completely randomly, so I am not sure how well it will go.

This might be one of those freak problems that we will never find out how it happens when it happens once in a blue moon.

This happend lots of times in beta, people switched names in game lobbys and when someone gave someone host the person could lagg out,..

I'm pretty sure it happened because me and that Mega guy connected at the same time, and as we was loading the host left. When I was in the lobby, my name was on the side as Mega was loading, but it kept flashing between my name and his.

Just a guess though, and I guess it'd be hard to reenact that.

Andrex pretty much has it right. Random problems like this can rarely be fixed. I will leave this open for a day longer, and if we find nothing in terms of replication I will reject it but keep it on the back of my mind in case another report comes in.

Edit: Moving to indeterminate to try and establish a method of replication.

Maybe, there have been some ideas of split second things. Quite QUITE hard to reproduce.

That game is 14 days old and also that account MegaKiller1 is 14 days old.

I wonder if it was the most recently created account in the table and for some reason a bad lookup resulted in the most recently created account being returned.
