Prior to June 12-13, HoN was working perfectly fine, no problems or anything. Then there was a patch update to which I don't remember. Basically the patch nearest to June 12-13. I started HoN and after I updated it, I logged in to discover that as I logged in, there was a lag spike and the screen froze, while the sound clip of the gears moving and such were stuttering and repeating themselves.
I found out that it applied to most of the actions I would do on HoN, i.e. lag spike when opening the list to pub games and change log. Also in-game things such as purchasing an item, leveling a skill, hearing the announcer (default) say "one of your structures is under attack" in a very stuttered and repeated manner.
I looked around the forums but couldn't find any solved issues pertaining to this and one or two people having the same issue is what I believe it is. It seems to be lag spikes, but I think it doesn't pertain to internet connection. My up/download rate caps at high numbers. I tried to uninstall and then re-install. It did not work but it did ask me to either repair and/or remove Microsoft's Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 x86. I chose to repair it, I have not yet chosen the remove choice yet but I'm willing to if need be.
I haven't fiddled with any of the sound settings in-game or tampered any files. I recently deleted anything relating to HoN such as any mods or such as I have used mods previously, and uninstalling and re-installing once more. I am going to remove the Visual C++ but I don't know if it will work.
My specs are Intel Core 2 Duo processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics card, I'm on a laptop by the way hence the Mobility in the graphics card name. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit, and I believe that is all the important information regarding system specs. I don't know if how to attach anything so I can't attach a DxDiag or anything
I would love some help on this as soon as possible, as I don't even want to play now due to the problems, and League of Legends isn't as fun.
EDIT:I did re-install it as I was typing this, and it seems Visual C++ wasn't the issue and neither were the mods I had. It issue still persists, and I did forget to mention that it doesn't apply to the log in screen so perhaps it is an internet issue. I also forgot to mention that when HoN is minimized all the sounds play completely fine, as if there wasn't a problem. One more thing, I had submitted tickets on this previously to the HoN help desk, someone told me to update everything, graphics card, Direct X, windows updates, and all that

Have you been going through the Support wiki here http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/wiki/index.php/Technical_Support ? If not i would tell you that you should do so and post the results here in your thread!
