the Physicist

Story:
With an arcane understanding of the world the Physicist can bend the universe at his whim.

Appearance:
Lab coat (somewhat similiar to Electrician), gains a slight blue/green glow when he selects the skill Radiation.

Faction: Either

Damage: 40-52 (Melee Range), Movement Speed: 300
Str: 27 (+ 3.2 Primary) Agi: 12 (+ 1.0) Int: 17 (+ 2.1)
Armor: 1.10

Role: Semi-Tank, Ganker, Pusher

Skill 1: Overload
The Physicist sends a burst of energy into a unit dealing damage to units around it over time and increasing its speed.

Cooldown: 10 seconds (All Ranks)
Casting Range: 600 units
Target: Enemy Units, Enemy Heroes, Allied Units, Allied Heroes
Damage Radius: 200 units (All Ranks)
Rank 1 (100 Mana) - Deals initial 40 magic damage, deals 10 magic damage every second for 5 seconds and increases speed by 3%.
Rank 2 (110 Mana) - Deals initial 75 magic damage, deals 15 magic damage every second for 5 seconds and increases speed by 6%.
Rank 3 (120 Mana) - Deals initial 90 magic damage, deals 20 magic damage every second for 5 seconds and increases speed by 9%.
Rank 4 (130 Mana) - Deals initial 110 magic damage, deals 25 magic damage every second for 5 seconds and increases speed by 12%.

Note: If casted on an allied unit, they don't take the initial magic damage or the dot damage. They will still explode the magic damage around them and gain speed.

Skill 2: Repulsion
The Physicist erupts pure energy from within, knocking all enemies near him back.

Cooldown: 25 seconds (All Ranks)
Casting Range: 0
Damage Radius: 200 units around self (All Ranks)
Rank 1 (90 Mana) - Deals 50 magic damage to all enemies, knocks all enemies back 100 units.
Rank 2 (110 Mana) - Deals 100 magic damage to all enemies, knocks all enemies back 200 units.
Rank 3 (130 Mana) - Deals 150 magic damage to all enemies, knocks all enemies back 300 units.
Rank 4 (145 Mana) - Deals 200 magic damage to all enemies, knocks all enemies back 400 units.

Skill 3: Radiation
Physicist's skin burns anyone that touches him.

(Passive - Debuff lasts 20 seconds.)
Rank 1 - Attackers take 5 magic damage per hit/spell, every attack increases damage taken from his next spell by 1% stacking up to 5 times.
Rank 2 - Attackers take 10 magic damage per hit/spell, every attack increases damage taken from his next spell by 2% stacking up to 5 times.
Rank 3 - Attackers take 15 magic damage per hit/spell, every attack increases damage taken from his next spell by 3% stacking up to 5 times.
Rank 4 - Attackers take 20 magic damage per hit/spell, every attack increases damage taken from his next spell by 4% stacking up to 5 times.

Ultimate: Fusion
The Physicist fuses two enemy heroes together dealing massive damage the further they are apart as they are dragged together.

Cooldown: 160/150/140 seconds
Casting Range: 600
Target: Enemy Heroes
Drag Time: 1 second (All Ranks)
Rank 1 (250 Mana) - Max Fusion Range: 600, deals 1 magic damage per unit moved. Stuns both targets for 1 second and deals 75 magic damage when fused.
Rank 2 (350 Mana) - Max Fusion Range: 800, deals 1.1 magic damage per unit moved. Stuns both targets for 1.5 seconds and deals 140 magic damage when fused.
Rank 3 (475 Mana) - Max Fusion Range: 1000, deals 1.2 magic damage per unit moved. Stuns both targets for 2 seconds and deals 200 magic damage when fused.

Notes: It fuses the closest enemy hero to the one you cast this on. It's best used when they are far apart. If there's not another enemy hero in range it just stuns the target you cast on + stun damage.

very fun ultimate in fact. great idea. The skill also seems rather Balanced hwoever whats the duration of it? i cant see it anywhere.

the first skill is ok. Im not completley sure about it still solid.

Repulsation is good i always like knockback also great for interrupting heroes like SS from ulting. fun skill yess.

i like Radiation. Reminds me of a skill from my suggestion (i know its not realy the same but some mechanics are simmilar) still good skill. great for tanking!

It's in the description, drag time of 1 second. So whatever distance the heroes are, they'll always be dragged together in 1 second. So if they're far away it'll zip them together quickly, but if they're close it'll drag a lot slower -- the time it takes is always 1 second.

Skill 3: Research things others have done before
Ultimate: Wonder why your uni doesn't have funding for you any more

i cant help but feel you need to throw schrodingers cat into your hero.

Skill 1: Schrodingers Cat The Physicist spawns schrodingers cat, which oscillates between life death and inbetween. The shear pain it takes to comprehend cause everyone else to have brain explosion and run with confusion induced speed.

Cooldown: 10 seconds (All Ranks)
Casting Range: 600 units
Target: Enemy Units, Enemy Heroes, Allied Units, Allied Heroes
Damage Radius: 200 units (All Ranks)
Rank 1 (100 Mana) - Deals initial 40 magic damage as there brain explodes, deals 10 magic damage every second for 5 seconds as the melted brain runs out their ears and increases speed by 3%.
Rank 2 (110 Mana) - Deals initial 75 magic damage as there brain explodes, deals 15 magic damage every second for 5 seconds as the melted brain runs out their ears and increases speed by 6%.
Rank 3 (120 Mana) - Deals initial 90 magic damage as there brain explodes, deals 20 magic damage every second for 5 seconds as the melted brain runs out their ears and increases speed by 9%.
Rank 4 (130 Mana) - Deals initial 110 magic damage as there brain explodes, deals 25 magic damage every second for 5 seconds as the melted brain runs out their ears and increases speed by 12%.

Note: If casted on an allied unit, they don't take the initial magic damage cost they are used to you pulling this kinda quantum **** or the dot damage. They will still explode the magic damage around them and gain speed as even though they have seen it before it still confusing and scary!

well, i like it. simple yet affective hero. the ult is deliciously fun and the spells have relatively nice synergy. instead of a disable like most STR he has a knockback, i would add a slow effect to it as well because it is his only form of cc. think of all the STR heroes... what do they all have in common... they all have a stun of some kind, aside from accursed or war beast who are arguably str carries. there is lego, but taunt is almost a stun because targets cant move on their own, or cast spells.

t-up on fun concept... btw, i have a hero im working on similiar to the lab coat look LOL.

This hero wants people to run away from him to maximize the function of his ultimate. Adding a slow would be opposite of what I want.

About the ult if the max at lvl 3 is 1000 and they get pulled together at 1 magic per unit then they only get pulled/take 500 damage plus the 200 stun damage.
..sooo 700 damage to both heroes before the armor kicks in??

I just looked at this for the first time in like 2 months, but yes. His passive also increases damage taken by his spells, so it's potentially 20% more.

You should talk about the "strong force" binding them together for a two second duration after fusion occurs ;P
