My question is pretty simple. Answer yes or no to the poll if you would like a site with the following:

Tournaments

With & Without Prizes
Different levels like 1v1 2v2...5v5
PSR Regulated Games and 'Just For Fun'

Ladder

With & Without Prizes
Functions as any normal ladder would
Open & Closed Ladders based on skill levels

Clan Wars

With & Without Prizes
Challenge clans with 'Warlights On'
Clan battles and grudge matches

Contests

Simple contests from pulling off crazy combo's to other fun stuff

Lots of other stuff too, but you get the general idea.

I am working on something like this with a buddy for a different game, but want to know if the HoN community would like to see something like this implemented.

Honestly man, your poll option is stupid.

I highly doubt most people will completely hate or completely love each idea, therefore voting that we want what is listed is impossible, as such I voted no.

I couldn't care less about 1v1 2v2 3v3 or 4v4. I only will ever watch 5v5, and will only play 5v5.

PSR regulation is retarded, there is nothing stopping me or any high psr player from making a new nickname and wreaking havoc on lower psr teams.

Most everything else sounds nice.

Speaking for myself, I am mostly interested in high level, 5v5, normal HoN competition, nothing more. Prizes are swell, but as long as it harbors high level teams and high level play, I'll probably like it.

It's a general poll about if you would like a site that offered these options. Therefore, anyone taking it seriously would vote yes if they liked any of them because all of the options would be available in the end. I don't understand your logic for voting no while saying most of it sounds nice?

PSR regulated tourny's would be for those who want to gain PSR while winning prizes, etc. Believe or not there are plenty of people who like their PSR and don't want to play a matchup of teams with 1900+ against 1400's. Not all tourny's would be done in this fashion...as some will not even record stats at all so they can be competitive but leave you with nothing to lose.

If you want to make new names over and over and waste beta keys or in the end buy cd keys to do this then go for it. If you are that desperate to win then I suppose you would find some other way anyway.

Oh, because I actually dislike those things, and therefore it has a negative effect on my opinion about the rest of the site.

I wasn't aware that people are only aloud one account after they purchase hon, I assumed it would be similar to bnet when it came to account creations. I personally have no problem with one account per cd-key and would indeed prefer such a system.

Doesn't change the fact that I can't stand anything other than 5v5 seeing as how the game is literally meant to be played 5v5, it is balanced that way, and supporting any other format really turns me off. You asked for opinions, that is mine.

well, agreeable or not (as some of the options might be) i seriously hope that s2 will create in-game options for competitive play, just like wc3 .. Otherwise it's gonna be dota-league.com over again that plain out sucked (i, personally got 2 yrs ban along with my m8, cus our dorm has the same ip = multiaccounting)..

Ah, I see what you are saying here but the PSR tourny's aren't going to be for low PSR players anyway. I enjoy 5v5 myself as well, but it would be stupid to assume nobody would like a 1v1 2v2 3v3 4v4 games as well. However, if the site goes live you don't have to join. You can just play HoN for what it is now. No problem. :)

S2 very well may implement a competitive system, but they have said nothing of this to my knowledge. I wouldn't ban people for the same IP unless it became a problem and got a little fishy. I know plenty of people who live together and game together...you shouldn't be faulted for that. Anyway, in the end it all counts on your skill level so you can have as many accounts as you want but that doesn't mean you will still win.

This seems like something people would be interested in so I will probably go ahead with this project. I may be looking for a few staff members as well (volunteers of course) to help out if anyone is interested. Would be minimal work like helping keep the forum clean of spam/trolls, spectate games, etc. Let me know if you are interested in something like this.

THey are implementing a tourney system and clan wars system

Is there anywhere I can read info on this? I will gladly let S2 take care of it since it will obviously be more interactive than a website could ever be. I am just curious about it now :)
