hooray something permanent to improve upon the temporary nature of EA. definitely a positive change and the only incentive you could have possibly given me to buy EA heroes. Forums will QQ cause kids don't understand that they're now getting more for the same $$.

The only thing I could ask for is making EA heroes available for ~5000 silver. Too much for it to be feasible to buy them all with silver, but possible to get some of them. Would make a lot of people happy enough that they would spend $ on the ones they don't get with silver.

Also, it's not likely that we'll see two more heroes in two weeks, as MK will go F2P. I think they'll start doing 1 hero each week, always F2P, which is gonna make some people mad.

According to twitter there's a huge balance patch on the horizon. Fingers crossed for Engi buff, KotF nerf, and some number tweaking on Drunken Master.

This is my third post about this gold **** massacre. If you want to keep any of the players who actually want to be able of using all of your games content from converting into DotA2, make Legacy accounts earn gold instead of silver in MM or something. I bought the game to get all of your content, of which I wasn't able to in LoL, but right now I feel like you're shitting all over my face.

I find it funny how in an interview about a month ago, Maliken said that he was welcoming DOTA2 with open arms. He said that he liked competition, and it would make this game even better.

I'm impressed that S2 has been able to keep HON on such a downward slide. Ever since the free-to-play change, this game has been going way downhill. I don't know if this is some last-ditch effort to make money before DOTA2 steals your entire playerbase, but I'm extremely disappointed in S2 as a company.

Stop adding new heroes at this breakneck pace: rebalance and rework your sizable existing hero pool! There are a ton of heroes now that just aren't worth picking since they're outclassed by another hero who does their same job, only better.

my favorite part is that these limited avatars are just crappy re-colorings. the models are still the same. the lack of any balance content, anything to use silver coins for, and anything not based around $2 getting money is disappointing. Like 70 or 80 or something (approximate guess, not sure)? So any given game there are 60-70 heroes that aren't picked. I honestly can't see how you can rage so hard over something is is basically a nonfactor, especially when the game has built in banning modes where you can control what tiny difference that hero would make if you cared that much.

Pretty much every single argument I've seen against EA has been built on a tower of "maybe" and "what-ifs." Basically its a bunch of speculation of how it MIGHT give an advantage with 0 substance.

That skill can be upgraded 5 times, just try him in practise. At level 1 it gives 0 bonuses only the ability to swap weapons. At start you get 1 level in this ability.

i just got a black screen when starting hon after the patch =/

so this is what i did:
1.) i reinstalled hon without uninstalling hon -> nothing changed
2.) i reinstalled hon with completely removing hon from disk (or at least i hoped so) -> nothing changed
3.) i tried an older version of my graphics driver -> nothing changed
4.) i deleted some files from my disk (cuz' i had little space), completely removed hon (got uninstallation error - despite obvious success!) and finally i installed hon again and made the patch - hon working! (probably because of disk space)

so dear s2 team, please
1.) alert the user on error and make more meaningful error messages
2.) fix this annoying hero usage stats graphics bug under Linux and all the bugs unter Windows

if you are new to the game, and you never went on the hon shop, use the hellbringer alt avatar's message of the day pop-up to enter in the hon shop. doing this will take you to the 2 ea alt avatars. now go on the rest of the alt avatars tab, there you can find hellbringer alt at like 400 or 600 silver, i don't remember. i did this with a new account and it worked, so i told my friends on ts3 about it. they answered hb alt was at 3k silver, which wasn't right as i had it at 4-600. got out from the shop, went in again but now using the hon shop button, from that moment hb alt is at 3k.
so again, for new people who never used the shop, use the message of the day to go on alt avatars tab and get hb alt for much less coins.

:emer:- Why does his ultimate have 3 sub-abilities? It's apparently not enough that he has an extra free attack every 5 seconds.

:amun:- Regen with an attack speed buff AND magic damage. Really, all in one skill?

:reve:- His ultimate basically gives you free multi-casting of all of his skills.

:silh:- First skill is an AoE damage skill and can be launched ,Grappling Hook has 2 abilities, as well as a damage booster AND A.S. buff in one skill, as well as the ability to transpose herself with her illusion. Why S2 ever thought it was a good idea I will never know.

:trem:- Magic damage, small heal, and a slow in one skill. As well as a free pseudo-TP. Understandably, he is easy to fight after his nerfs. Again though, why was it even thought out that he needed all those effects in one skill?

Notice too, all of said heroes are the creations of S2. IMO, if S2 REALLY wanted to stand out compared to all the other competitors, they'd start putting in community-created heroes and items, maps, game modes, and actually deliver on what they say they would (ie, Geomancer and map Editor, for example).

Why always a crash report when I want to update from client. Everytime I have to download 600 mb and install the new patch. what is the problem?

Windows Problem! With XP, HoN have too much bugs (K2 crash/Update crash) I had the same problem just change Compatibility to Windows 95 and Update the game :)
