Can someone give me an idea on what heroes are usually played in scrims/matches? Also, please tell me who is usually banned from play?

Magmus, Behemoth, Tempest, Jeraziah, Kraken = common bans (if not banned, usually picked)

common pick/bans:
Demented Shaman, Pestilence, valkyrie, Soul reaper, soul stealer, hammerstorm, pyromancer, thunderbringer, madman, nymphora, pharoah, succubus.


That's just off the top of my head.

Probably forgot a couple

Forgot Hellbringer, and maybe Defiler(fast lane pushes and AE silence). Also wonder if like, the new Maliken isn't worth it, excelent early game with range snare+blink and lane control with heals against harass or insane last hitting potential with dmg sword, powerful endgame with short AE disable, huge attack speed boost+ranged attack and the new armor buff to increase his survivability, but I guess he'd be much better if his fear was a stun.

One of my favorite lineups is something like:
Long lane: Pyromancer+magmus
Short Lane: Behemoth+Tempest (tempest jungling mostly)
Middle: up for grabs but vodoo jester, slither, tort work well.
This is a no carry general aoe strat. Pyro and magmus are guaranteed to get some kills of the carry and babysitter, behemoth gets to solo farm up that portal key faster as well as tempest. I like vodoo jester on this one b/c tempest ult+ cursed groun+ everything else = wtf

Yeah unfortunately Glacius is pretty bad right now, his ult is completely useless.. But if that is ever fixed, you'll be seeing him a lot more!

Behemoth solo'ing? if they have even the slightest amount of lane control, they will woop his ass and prevent him from getting a single creep kill. Even with tempest running back and forth to gank. Placing a melee with shabby lane control in a solo lane, is not only a bad idea, it is a horrible idea.

Can you even imagine a mym vs fnatic match, where they are smashing a solo earth-shaker vs potm/sk ? it would be a bloodbath.

Not sure about Pyro and Soulstealer being on that list. Not seen them in many shoutcasts, though I haven't seen that many. Sand Wraith definitely features as a pick/ban too.

Maliken I have noticed is becoming more popular aswell and Ive seen Puppet Master once in Trn vs Clan Clan not sure how frequently picked he is though (probably not very)

You may not see temp banned if a team can pick hellbringer, pharoh, or possibly another hero that can disable his ult easily from a distance.

I'd say Tempest is leaving the god tier hotseat where we are now, he's only an instaban hero if you're not used to playing against him.

To fight against tempest, you should always have a stunner stay back to cancel his ulti. If possible hellbringer, because he really kicks tempest ass with his ulti.

Lots of heroes are coming that counter tempest.

Spectre, Nortrom, VS, etc.
