Edited File

The mod edits the ui/game_shop_v3.package file

Installation (.honmod)

To install mods (*.honmod files) drag them onto the program window or alternatively put them into the game\mods sub-directory of your HoN install (which will be created when you first launch the program).

The default locations for this directory are:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Heroes of Newerth\game\mods
Linux: /home/<username>/HoN/game/mods
Mac:
1. Press Finder
2. Press Applications
3. Right click 'Heroes of Newerth', and press Show containing files
4. Open Game folder
5. Open mods folder
6. Move *.honmod files here

:BoundEye: Workaround for errors caused by outdated .honmod files. (Message: This mod was written for Heroes of Newerth v-0.*.*) (If it were up to me I'd wait for an author's update)
1st Workaround (easy)
01. Start HoN.
02. Open the HoN_ModMan. This window will pop up. Ignore it.
http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/6824/honmodmanerror.jpg (http://img155.imageshack.us/i/honmodmanerror.jpg/)
03. Enable the mods you'd like to "bypass".
04. Close HoN
05. Close the HoN_ModMan and apply the preferred mods.
06. Restart HoN.

2nd Workaround (medium)
Steps A and B are only necessary 1 time!
A. Extract the .honmod file you'd like to use with a Zip program, I use Winrar (Winrar (http://www.rarlab.com/) / 7zip (http://www.7-zip.org/) / Winzip (http://www.winzip.com/)). You'll see at least 2 files (icon.png, mod.xml) and occasionally .package files.
B. Open the mod.xml via right-click and "Open with". Set Editor (Notepad) as "Default program". A text (Editor / Notepad) window will now pop up. Close it. Delete the extracted files.

01. Open the honmod file with your Zip program. Open the mod.xml file. It should now be a text file not a microsoft .xml file.
02. Search for appversion="-0.3.*" and change it into appversion="-1.*.*". If you change it into appversion="*" version check will be disabled completely. Close the text file.
03. Wait for the window below. Click "Yes".

04. If you want to prevent an auto update edit e.g version="1.0.0" into version="1.0.1".

You can also extract the archive, change the mod.xml and save the folder again as a .zip file. Rename it into .honmod and drag it into your HoN_ModMan.

This mod was made years ago and it was made for the beta, not for 2.0 or the new shop.

im sure there wount be any update on this mod ever, unless someone else take over and try to implement it to the new shop.
