Hello community of S2`s latest hitgame HoN. I just spended a couple of hours finding out what Staff of the master does for each hero and writing it down, until i found out there was a HoN wiki wich basicly told you almost everything already :S. Nevertheless i decided to make a guide for those that dint knew what the Staff can do for you and a few things HoNwiki wont tell you! Also this is my first guide ever made so i can use all the (constructive) critism i can get.

Often made mistakes.
Lots of Dota vets but some of the newcomers of HoN buy Staff of the Master on a hero without checking if it works.
Its understandable that people (like me),
who played Dota for quite some years are still in their dota mindset.
Staff of the master/Aghanims used to work on Tempest/Enigma or Blacksmith/Ogre Magi.
To avoid this from happening always check if your hero`s ultimate states THIS SKILL CAN BE UPGRADED WITH STAFF OF THE MASTER. Doing so prevents you from spending lots of gold on a unwanted item.
