Chinese Translation bug~Need help~

When we are working on the new patch translation, we found we can not load the Chinese Font library, so the honmod we made was not working if we load the patch in Chinese, it would be crash all the time. Hope someone can help us with this, thanks!

You should check the file encoding in notepad++

add it to your core_XX.resources and wait for the crash.

The same Notepad...We can normally use other fonts.

Its not a crash, its an encoding problem so you should try all encoding coonvertions like i said, maybe you can solve it by yourself.

I try to use the resources0.s2z-stringtables- 4 xxxx_en.str(rename our xxx_zh.str)
and use the resources0.s2z-fonts-game_zh.ttf(rename our patch name)
still crash....
and if use game.ttf(rename our patch name).....normal....

This is totally new to me that you need a ttf file. Our german translations work out of the box with utf with bom (byte order mark)

the last ending has to be .s2z and not ttf of the file you use

He was saying the TTF font "IN" the S2Z.
no way he's using TTF directly.

in fact, even there's only core_en.resources(no font/folder) but with "cjk" set, it would crash the game as well.

I will take the opportunity to remind you that if there's some kind of bug with the character set support you have to report that bug in order for anyone to fix it :P
