Now that HoN has gone F2P I would like to see a coaching system as Team Fortress 2 has. It would be great to have a a buttom where you can sing up as a coach and people may ask for coaching.
This couching could be done by entering to special games by asking for a couch. So this games can be rage free where couch can take time to explain whatever coaches think that is importarnt and also answer questions or concerns they new players have. To enter this games you should sing up as a Coach and whenever there is people asking for a coach a message is sent to you and answer if you are available or not.
The system could make kind of a 4v4 game where the coach could switch teams and select any heroe or change whenever he wants to try to show everything that is important to know. So this coach would teach a max of 8 players. He could be able to silence everyone or the users he wants in order to teach them and stop the people that is spamming nonsenses for example. He could change peoples from one team to the other and also their heroes.
Topics that may new players find interesting:
-General Game Recomendations
-Roles and how important they are
-Juking places
-Explain how to jungle with the heroes that can do that
-Explains specific ingame terms
-Teaching how to make succesful ganks
-Show some ingame mechanisms
-Explain about some strategical picks ( Picks to kongor at lvl 1, A healer combo) and how to counter them.
-Interesting combos
-Different play styles with a single hero
When the game is finished, this can be done by the coach or by just letting the game end, players can leave a score of how useful this was and also leave a comment for the user as a coach. Letting this into a coach ranking so players may choose to get in a future coaching from a coach of their choice. Maybe we can see a reward for the coachos (this is optional and it's good way to make players sing up as coaches)
I know this is just an idea. I can help in improving how it should work, but nothing technical.
