Hi there! I'm not sure if this is the right place, but I wanted to ask if any of you have experience with Tablet of Command. I never see it used (in pubs at least). And I wonder which hero might profit most of it. I tried it on Hag, it's fun to use and you can pull of some nice tricks but I wouldnt buy it again.

it's good for supporter

if the enemy team has tempest or magmus you can interrupt their ulti's (even when shrunken head active)

My team just normaly gets it for laughs when we know we are going to win. We had it on a scout where he launched an enemy out of their shrine and we held him then killed him. But its used on support for people that do not have stunners to end some channeling spells.

Tablet was and still is a tricky item. The problem is that it doesn't offer you much for it's price.

In DOTA, the only hero I ever got Tablet on was Dark Seer, and he's not even in this game.

It's kind of situational, and also depends on what hero you are. I'd only ever get it on a hardcore support hero that doesn't need much else. Maybe Demented Shaman- but only if I'm already doing really good.

All it really gives you stat-wise is some int and some damage.

The activatable is nice, but it's kind of like a makeshift-blink dagger with shorter range when used on yourself, and when used on enemies its kind of unpredictable.

It's not terrible- it's just Risky, which is why you never see it.

You can also use it on allies. The all-important reason for its escape utility, I find, is that it does not have the 3 second cooldown that the blink dagger does. Also, of course, you can rescue people other than yourself.

Yes, that's another important part of using it. Still, the situations in which an ally can be saved by pushing him in the direction he is facing are limited.

I get it almost every time I go support. It's amazing, highly underrated. Saved asses tons of times, assisted in ganks tons of times. I love this item. You can even push mag away AFTER his ult already started.

I find it very usefull (atleast very fun) for Swiftblade. You can escape ganks very easily by spinning (to be magic immune) then push yourself up/down a cliff. You can also use it earlygame to catch people with your spin (you can target yourself while spinning).

Its a strong counter against Tempest/Magmus/Devourer/Witch Doctor/Glacius/Succubus also, as someone already pointed out.
Its really helpfull to have if your playing against a devourer so you can escape his slow if he manages to catch you or an ally.

Its also very very fun to push people in/out of Chronos ulti with it.

Wait, you used ToC to push yourself while spinning as swift? How does the game decide what way you're facing? 0.o

It can stop tempest, even while you're trapped IN his ulti.

If you have a team of friends and a blood hunter, it's a pretty fun item.

It cannot be used while in tempests ult.

Through an extensive battery of tests conducted over a period of two minutes, I have come across the following:

Tablet of Command will cancel Tempest's ultimate.
Tablet of Command cannot be used while in Tempest's ultimate.

In conclusion, I have contributed nothing new to this discussion.

Swiftblade faces the direction that he´s moving to, the spinis just an animation that doesn´t effect where he faces.

Bloodhunter now laughs at teleporters.

I'm curious though, is the distance jumped counted towards hemmorhage?
