lifesteal questions

Hi all,

I had a couple questions about life steal

1) I'm assuming spells don't work with lifetsteal?

2) If I'm using barbed armor and someone hits me and the barbed armor returns the true damage...do i get life steal from that?

1) You are correct, spells do not work with lifesteal

2) I am pretty sure (99.9%) that the damage returned with barbed armor will not return life to you.

Life steal only takes into account standard attack damage. Any additional damage you do (aura, spell, orb, item, etc) will not be counted.

Thanks guys....and yes, you are right shadowcamsy the barbed armor does not return lifesteal to you...i just tested it.

But it DOES with hellbringer's ability, the one that returns health to HB when a debuffed enemy is damaged.

But that a part of the spell and specificly says so in the spell description, so why bother mentioning it?
