What does "SS" mean? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=34975)

Soul Stealer
Secret Shop
(Mi)ss
Also, it may refer to StormSpirit
Or, in some other games you ultimate move is could be called a 'SS' (Super Skill, Special Skill, Ect)

Now, used with context in a sentence, its pretty obvious which one is which.

Items

What are the differences between potions and how do I use a potion? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=26427)

Answer:

Items that are in your stash cannot be used until you go back and pick them up. The stash is not accessible from the outpost or secret shop.
The outpost and secret shop only sell certain items.
Items that are in the regular shop are always for sale and will be stored in the stash until you retrieve them.
By default the hot keys for your items are alt-Q/W/E/A/S/D.

Additional Info

Healing items such as potions and mana potions must be activated. Then you must target yourself or an ally to use the item. The effect will be disabled if you are hit.
Runes of the Blight are only usable on trees. When you use it on a tree it will heal you over time and destroy the tree. This is not disabled when you are hit.

What does "auto" mean when looking at item recipes and their prices?

When you are forming an item it shows the recipe price. If the price does not have a recipe it will say auto instead. The item will form as soon as you have all of the pieces. The price is not the full price of the item either so be wary of that.

Spells
What are the different ward spells? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=26685)

Voodoo Jester has a fast-firing ward. Slither has a poison ward. Scout has electric eyes that don't fire but they can explode and silence all enemies.

Strategy

What is "kiting"? How do I "kite"? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=28737)

Kiting is when you attack and move repeatedly so as to never let your enemy get close enough to hurt you. This is generally used in combination with a slowing effect.

Statistics

How do I reduce my leaver percentage? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=29631)

By playing more games you can lower your leaver percentage. You can not reduce it to zero without obtaining a new account.

Interface
Why does Scout's secondary spell have the same icon as his ult? Thread (http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=29686)

There is a problem with some of the User Interface Modifications.
