Hello.
As I was scrolling down on youtube, I noticed that HoNRUvideoes did the MK spotlight in Russia. I liked the idea of translating and dubbing spotlights for our fellow hon players, especially if it means that we are on the same playing field and we don't get "[insert random ethnicity] doesn't know how to play [insert random hero]. I was wondering if it is possible to spearhead this idea for other big languages, like maybe Spanish. If so, I would love to voice spotlights in Spanish. It would also be a step in gaining more customers, and more importantly, more money.

Time is $, S2.

I do not support this. We should encourage players to learn to understand english so we have a unified language for the game.

Further segregation of the community will occur if we strengthen the language barriers.

Sacudir es Shake, pero en este caso lo más parecido en cuanto a acción y significado seria Bump

(Sacudir is Shake, but in this case is the closest to Bump in action and meaning)

HoN isn't school, it's a game. So you can go to school AND play HoN, like I do.

I very much like my teammates to speak english at least on very very very basic level...

Rather put english subs, so the spotlights have a learn effect....

(I know you werent trying to make ppl speak less english, but you are trying to eliminate persuasion-points...)

Бамп in Russian.

Anyway, ability names can be preserved in translations.

It's not making them speak less english to US players, but helping them understand the new hero better. If you mute and watch them, you can't make heads or tails of it, try it. It's just to help them play better.

Also, subs are like meh... It could be personalized for the main languages, maybe with a popular player from the region. I rlly wanna do the spanish ones though.

Couldnt care less about US-players, I play in europe, and I can safely say, solo or duoqueing and having 3 ppl speak russian (worst case) or any other language which is not spoken by ALL individuals in the team,
normally means you gonna have no communication, no communication leads to bad games and loosing.

I know you know that, dont know why I wrote that.
English subs on the spotlights would also teach the viewers important vocabs concerning the presented hero...

but yeah, individual spotlights surely wont make players speak less english, I was aware of that.
Just throwing some cents in...

Agreed, and glad that EU players are contributing. It'll also add a personal touch so that players know S2 cares.

I support this.

I may do something along the lines of this and release audio for spotlights using my voice at the same time as the spotlight.

Long as it's not Spanish, and assuming you can pull off an intelligible accent to w/e other language you're going for, then go nuts!

i think S2 should at least put subtitles in the spotlights, i imagine a yankee speakin spanish to translate it, would be akward lol, subtitles would work, are cheaper to be made and easier to understand, in my case im from argentina but have problems to understand exactly the slangs from chile (lol they speak so funny)
