View Full Version : Beer as a cataclyst for growth
I find that if I keep my tolerance for alcohol low (drink 5 times a month or whatever) a light buzz off of 2-3 beers will make me more confident in my decision making and gives me a nice perspective change which takes me out of my old mind set and conditioning and leaves room for error recognition when my decision making goes awry.

I can see it being helpful (certainly fun) if you're playing an aggressive hero like Rampage who is best played decisively, in a manly manner. Just be sure you don't overdo it. I played a Rampage game after drinking a bit too much and I basically did charge->feed over and over again.
At the time I thought they had wards, but it could have been a charge-detection mod. After the first failed charge though I knew they knew I was coming, but that didn't stop me from charging into traps and feeding nonstop.
It probably won't help a whole lot though, tbh. If you're playing with bros and trying to have you could probably get the same effect without drinking. And if you do need the alcohol for any impact, I doubt it would last fpr future alcohol-free games.

Hm, now that you mention it, I did seem to play HON better when I was slightly tipsy.

lol at cataclyst
Anyway. Depends on how you play the game sober. If you run around all frantic and paranoid over analyzing every move then yeah a little relaxed buzz would probably benefit you.
