So i have found myself wanting to play Glacius lately he has an awesome concept and is really seems like a cool hero, but after playing him a few times and reading more then a few guides i find myself quite depressed at his strengths and weakness's. he has ALOT more weakness's than strengths in his current incarnation. so i think its time for a change here. i know he is a port of a hero and many people may find changing him not to their liking, but this is Hon not Dota so change is good.





Tundra Blast
Type: Magic
Range: 700
Radius: 400
Cast Time: 0.5 Seconds
Mana Cost: 100 / 120 / 140 / 160
Cooldown: 15.0 Seconds
Required Level: 1 / 3 / 5 / 7

Activation
Deals 80 / 130 / 180 / 230 Magic damage and applies Tundra Blast to all units in a 400 radius.

30% Movement Slow
-20 Attack Speed


well this seems reasonable but in actual use the damage from it especially late game is next to nil really all it becomes good for is kill stealing. not the best way to have a good game if u ask me my suggestions is something like this


keep the mana cost and cool down the same they seem fair for what you are getting.
make it target a unit not an area this will make usage a lot easier one we get into the next change.
have it deal 90/180/270/360 damage to units it targets and less damage the farther away from the point of impact you know, like and explosion of ice this claims to be.(also because even nymphora deals more damage than this as an aoe and hers even heal!)

maybe reduce the radius to 300 to justify the damage increase.

this is fair i like this ability as is its well balanced as is good for what u get. no changes here at all

nothing to see here folks just the whole reason that this hero is picked at the moment and one of the biggest reasons this hero is so good, but still i would like to be able to pick this hero and be useful more so then a mana battery that farms to lvl 7 to rush this aura then afks in the forest some where to not become dinner.

Activation
Spawns an Ice Shard every 0.1 seconds at a random location within radius for 4 seconds or until ability is cancelled. Applies Glacial Freeze to targets within a 200 radius of where an Ice Shard impacts and damages them for 105 / 170 / 250 Magic damage.
^930This ability can be boosted by ^930Staff ^930of ^930the ^930Master.

now this is a good aoe it hits like a truck when and if it hits them. i have a couple of suggestions not about damage or mana cost but of mechanics of how this is used.



make it a target position. you are extremely squishy and the amount of danger u have to put yourself in just to use it as is is ridiculous. you hit r and you are dead.
keep it channeled i like that it is and it makes sense.
make the radius slightly smaller to justify it targeted as well as make it more likely to hit the enemy.

now one other thing i want to touch on here is his walk speed(hover speed) is terrible seriously he could walk faster then he hovers and to make it all the worse he is probably the most fragile hero there is.
i suggest that he have his walk speed bumped up to ATLEAST 295, because everyone else is either rock solid or speedy and our poor friend Glacius is neither.


(also i know that S2 will change the numbers to their liking which i good... i hate the damn things, also... i hope this is the right forum for this =/ i am kinda confused how this is works)

im not too sure about the first skill remake you thought off. First off all, lategame that skill isnt used for damage nor should it be for kill stealing. It gives a nice speed debuff to mutiple enemies the way it is now, and should be kept.

I can pretty much sign the ulti suggestion being targetable, but i would not make it more likely to hit the enemy. else this ulti will be a game killer, it already hits pretty much. The movespeed suggest i'd like to see implented too. With heroes walking around with 475+ movement speed with steamboots, you can keep up even with BOT. I've always hated maiden for the sake of the movespeed. The LOW amount of health is counterable by bracers and the such, but the movement speed is rediculous(Even lich got boosted ms lately).

To sum it up
-Keep first skill as it is, its not meant to deal a large amount of dmg
-Make ulti targetable, channeling, smaller aoe, maybe even lower the slow debuff %(or remove it, thats a bit of test subject)
-Buff the movespeed (295 is enough)

I agree his tundra blast needs a Buff. Imo they should increase it's radius slightly, and only slight increase the damage or leave that the same. Your suggestion seems to much like Plague Rider's Contagion though(like Crystal maidens old crystal nove/1st move), I'm not sure if heroes should share a skill.
