I am having the same exact issue that "Tnerp" posted.

US East + 50% of US WEst servers = mini DC
When playing on US East or nearly half of the west games, I am getting constant "mini DCs" where I'll lag for a split second and the disconnect icon will appear on the left side of my screen. I've pinged the servers and ran a tracert and I'm getting about 10-20% packet loss on east servers and 5% on west. I do not lag on any other game or have any issues anywhere else.

Would also like to add that this issue JUST started the other day (28th) and I've done everything possible in an attempt to fix it, but nothing has worked. This seems to be happening mainly in public games, and rarely in MMR. Here is the tracert information:

This has been happening the past few days. My ping will stay low in game but I tend to get server lag when trying to play. I don't seem to be the only one. I have 2 other friends in my town that play Hon as well and they run into the same issue.

Update: Lag only seems to happen during Matchmaking games. Seems to be fine during public games. Any help or ideas are appreciated. I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled hon. Double checked system for Malware and Virus's. (Keep my system pretty protected and clean though). I have no firewall but my router and I am setup on my Routers DMZ.

I was starting to think it was mainly US East servers. But it seems to be randomly happening to US West Servers as well. Played a few games on all west and only one was not lag spiking. I really don't want to play anymore until this gets resolved.

Almost a week later and not even an acknowledgement from support. These lag spikes are unbearable. I posted my winmtr tracert on the General Discussion Forums. It doesn't seem to me that S2 even use the Tech Support forums. If anyone is reading this you got a much better chance getting a response from the General Discussion Forums.

Dota 2 just can't come fast enough it seems.
