603 gold in practice mode?

I create a five on five practice game mode, start game with just myself, and start off with 3k+ gold. I want to start with 603, so I can mimic my experience jungling towards a certain item. How do I do this?

Calculate your spendings or buy an item that is 2400g and drop it.

Theoretically, if you click Give Gold 15000 enough, you'll eventually end up with ~600 gold, if the cutoff isn't disallowing this.

Or, just ignore your extra gold.

Or, let creeps farm you up until you have 603 gold.

The problem is you're getting 5 times the amount of gold possibly per second(Unless hon feeds the right amount to each person.. which would be a bug, so you'll be off as well when you're practicing jungle.

buy minor totems until you get xxx3 gold, then drop them (destroy them if you want). Buy potions until you get down to 503 gold, then sell the potions (stacked items only sell for max price of 1 item, ie 100 gold)

takes 10 seconds and gives you 603 gold

But yeah, they need to make an option to set your gold amount in practice

I'm pretty good at math, but when I'm trying to micromanage pets, stack neutrals, and/or pull from one camp to another, etc., I don't have time to think "Could I really afford suchandsuch yet, quick, what's 4277 minus 2412?"

And it's really rather dumb to be forced buy and drop totem/totem/totem/totem/potion/blessed orb. You might argue the time period before neutrals/creeps spawn is leisurely and irrelevant, but if I'm trying to chain cast logger's hatchet, perhaps while dropping wards, and scouting runes/camps, I could conceivably use every second.

The thing I always do is buy four bottles. That gets you down to like 618. Just drop them and you're on your way.

I'm a mod to the Training Grounds. My mod-ship was recently acquired. I don't work for S2, as my signature says, and I don't expect to know everything there is to know about S2 or their games.

There is no point in having more than 600 gold. You can get gold by accesing the test tab, so its not like theres a need for it.

The difference between 600 and 603 actually matters if minor totems are part of your starting build.

Now I presume this is a joke... but do you HONESTLY loose 1 gold for swearing in HoN / DotA... I feel like a retard for not knowing this.

Also, tbh I do agree, I would like a way, if not just an option in the test menu, to "set gold - 603". Also, do S2 plan a way to make a none private test game? You laugh at first but it could be great to unwind.. and also could be good if people wanted to try certain things but didn't want to camit to a 2 hour ranked match.

You used to lose 1 gold for swearing in HoN x number of versions ago but it has since been removed.

I guess the idea was to be some sort of a swear jar. :)
