just downloaded this, is it any good? i have no idea when hon will be back so am looking to tide myself over with something, but all this rubbish with hon means as soon as dota 2 is out im def switching, i originally went from dota to hon so the switch will be easy, its a shame when hon beta came out i really thought they had great potential but they appear to have lost their way somewhere and are more interested in money now.

If you like hon you're better off reinstalling good ol' WC3 imo.

it's basically HoN's CM. it is waaaay more passive though, so beware. do not rush into things and NEVER EVER tower dive.
protip: play hardcore aggressive early game, LoL players have no idea how to handle strong harass since LoL is normally so slow paced in the early phases.

Game is so ****ing boring and easy when you are low rank.

I am rank 10 and destroy every game using the foreign word to LoL players: "logic"

I tried to play it but omg, it is so bad. I picked Annie and she sounded semi retarded. Try it if you want, but prepare to be disappointed.

LoL is kinda fun for the first week, until you realize how slow paced and forgiving it is. You can dominate the other team all game then they rape your face in simply because you dont lose gold when you die and the game isnt balanced for ****.

Funny thing is in that game, youre almost better off constantly pushing your lane because as long as there are creeps near the tower, you can attack it without it attacking you...

Game is slow, even more EM than EM and just plain unbalanced.

Actually been lolling the last week or so. I'll start of by saying, compared strictly against each other, i think HoN is the far superior game.

LoL really isn't that bad, but it does have some glaring issues. it can be enjoyable though, and it's nice to have basically an entirely different pool of heroes to try out.

The biggest problems I have with the game are heroes with no mana pools or really any limiting resource...seriously, wtf? derp derp spam spam spam spam i'm so good in laning phase spam spam spam spam. the speed, it's just slow. I constantly miss skill shots because i'm used to games being much faster. and the minimap defaults to the right of the screen...oh my god it made me want to punch a baby. escape -> more options -> flip minimap (because for some reason they didn't put it in the "interface" tab in the options...not sure why...)

Its okay. Different kind of game, same genre.

I don't like it because its slow, no denying, the graphics are cartoony and terrible looking, summoner skills, talent trees, and having to buy heroes.

I do like it for some of its heroes though. A few interesting concepts or takes on DotA heroes.
