Hello there,
been playing PP alot but as a new player I found myself struggling with itemization.
Usually went for Bracelets/Runes/Marchers, then experimented with Totem Of Kuldra/Hellflower/Nullstone but I'm quite torn...Kuldra is nice for quad disables but it leaves me out of HP all the time.
What do I do early game for mana if I'm laning with a melee carry/tank and find myself spamming spells?
When should I squeeze in Wards (if necessary) and Portal key?

Well, that kinda stuff; would really appreciate some pointers.

Cheers.

You don't spam spells. His control is too costly to be wasted on spamming anything, his spells are casted with care.

Dual bracers covers hp, and euls/stormspirit is the standard first item on rhasta. Reason is that euls has a long cast range and is essentially perfect for rhasta's ward ult - euls an opposing hero, walk up to ward cast range, plant wards surrounding the cyclone, then shackle the opp hero as he lands. Standard solo gank style, and euls remains a good item for team fights.

Bracerx2
Boots
Euls (cyclone stick)
Guinsoo (sheepstick)
Scepter (staff of the master)
Refresher (resto orb)
Shivas (frostfield plate)

In that order working down. Blinkdagger is unnecessary on him. You pick up two points of shackle for the early game, then max hex, then pick up the last two points of shackle midgame.

Ty for the post (I <3 Pollywog)

I have one question by boots you mean the standard marchers? Not upgraded ones (as this build requires $$)?

Standard boots. Upgrade to posthaste if you have spare cash, but it's likely you won't, he doesn't farm well.

Get Phaseboots ---> Stabilizer -----> lothars.
Done.

Allright, I'll give that a go, thanks.

Looking at all these items I suppose I should leave wardwhoring to someone else (for now at least).

I just died a little.

...but nowhere close to how much you'd die with that build! :D

Ummmm...
No.
So I didnt say get bracers.
But after bracers you get a lothars for chasing.
IMO it works for me.

He's an excellent farmer.

Travakh - didn't they take off staff of masters for him?

Anyways, I go eul's then post haste. Don't really need the hp if you're team ganking and you've got enough cc to run from anyone solo.

He's an excellent farmer.

Amend prior statement: while he's a good farmer, spending his time farming instead of constantly team battling and using his excellent control is a waste of the hero slot.

And yeah they did take off scepter, forgot. May as well rush shivas before the refresher then.

Post haste is good to farm with also port some where push until your boots are back up then port to a diff lane.

I would go Lothars after getting the Eul's. PP has bad survivability esp when getting ganked.

If you want to carry with Rhasta (Pollywog) go with bloodstone.

No Magic Stick + No Aghanim's (Staff of the Master) really made Pollywog Priest (Rhasta) weaker IMO in HoN.

Just get a few bracers, Enhanced Marchers (Phase Boots), Bottle and go for your first big item (Guinsoo, Eul's, Bloodstone, Necronomicon, etc.)
