12000 Viewers the most a HoN stream ever had?

Descent amount of viewers for HoN, competitive scene still alive and kicking.

Shame theres only like 10 people watching it live on a 12 inch monitor LOL.

There's quite a few in the BYOC area watching the stream on their comps as well.

There will be more online tonight (US time). Yesterday at this time there were maybe 3000 people on, then at yesterday night there were about 9000. I think that Americans make up a large part of the viewers and they'll be tuning in tonight especially, for the biggest event at DH.

I'd expect at least 15,000 if not 20k.

Honestly I wouldn't expect all that many people to watch (as compared to the world cup, winter dh, dya etc), the finals game probably won't be very good.

Streams of the LoL stream had more people watching than the HoN stream - fun fact. Who cares, though.

People didn't tune in later because honcast usually doesn't go live that early. The EU playerbase is larger than the US.

LoL stream had 70k viewers when they were showing a splash screen. Maybe they just enjoy that darn screen a lot.

Also, LoL had like 1+ hour queues to get in to the game (WTF?!) while the stream was going on. I wonder what everyone was doing while they were in the queue

FreudianTrip
06-19-2011, 12:57 PM
The LoL stream automatically loads within the launcher. Meaning anyone queuing was technically a viewer.

From what I've read that's not true, hope you're not making **** up in such an arrogant fashion.

but seriously, why is the login queue for LoL supposedly over 1 hours long when over 190K players are watching the stream. something seems shaddy..

It might have ... Cos LoL is a free game, wich means a lot more ppl is playing free game then spent 30$ for the real on :D

But anyway who cares about LoL ... When ever I see a youtube clip of that game it just makes me ... lol :D I just laugh at that kiddo graphics :)

Anyway, the only reason why I do like community of HoN is 'cos of the competitive scene :) 12k ppl is rly nice :D

Keep up Breaky

slow login servers to make the numbers look inflated?

SmackTrick
06-19-2011, 01:34 PM
Ok, I just checked LoL forums for fun. People are experiencing up to 4 hour queue times to log in to LoL. And once the queue time finishes, stuff like friend lists might not work (meaning you cant que except solo).

So yeah. I wonder how happy HoN players would be if there was a 4 hour que time to play.

Easy to get many viewers when you're the only allowed streamer.

eheheh sounds like every game you play in, lvl 3 witch 15 minutes in?

Paulz

LoL has a stream that automatically starts playing if u have the game open, how many are actually watching is unknown. WoW use to do the same, if you visited 1 of about 5 website you automatically became an mlg viewer which bumped the viewers up way over than what the stream would have normally

Wasn`t winter dh MSI stomping drdz in the finals?
