1.) Get Hammerstorm with Insanitarius.

*We fight until I'm at 100 hp and he's ~50. I run back towards some trees and deactivate Insanitarius*

Hammerstorm: "Oh no! I'm at one health with Armadon on my tail! His spikes will surely kill me!"

Armadon: Uhderpaderp, I should get close and get my kill! *Runs towards Hammerstorm and uses spikes*

Hammerstorm: *Activates Insanitarius again* I LIED! RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE!

"Hammerstorm pwned Armadon's head for 245 gold!"


I was hammerstorm. :3

2.) Me + Pebbles just killed Swiftblade's partner and he runs with around 300-400 health left.

Pebbles: "****, he's gonna run around the trees."

Hammerstorm: "THROW ME!"

*Pebbles chucks Hammerstorm who activated Brute Strength*

Right as Swiftblade leaves LoS, I land and smack him once for the kill.

I was Torturer and was laning against Predator. I had half health and he leaped into me and I had 1/4 health at my tower, he keeps attacking. I activate my ult then stun him (keep in mind he had full health; we were both level 7), and use all of my skills against him. He died in like 2 seconds and I literally had <10 health left. I laughed so hard then proceeded to talk trash and call him an idiot.

Sumthing i couldn't stop laughing of was when i was Soulstealer with Assassins shroud, i spotted arachna running against mid in river, I activated my shroud, stand where shes heading, start ulti, she litterally huggs me, and dies just from ulti blast, nothing more... l8er that game i almost got double tap the same way, only then i needed 1 auto attack on each xD so fun (guess who my favorit hero is? xD)

Zig-zaging your way from top lane all the way down to your base defiantly took longer then 49 seconds. With kracken slowing me and all.

Playing a game as pred 2 epic things happened:

5 man tower push, we got pushed close together (by luck more than design) with behes fissure and a few other things, and a magebane blinked into the middle of us, and ultied our pollywog. Polly had no mana, and insta-jibbed four of us, myself being the only one escaping because I happened to have stone hide up at the time. Seeing magebane get a quad kill like that was rather sad... (i got mopped up pretty quickly afterwards).

Second thing was activating stone hide just in time to take no damage from pyros ulti (although it still casted) in a gank, stone hide was then purged by electrician, and he gripped me, however a friendly jerAziah ran in, sheilded me, and we started running away until zephyr leaped in and purged me with nullfire (yet again). Soul reaper then popped out of the trees and ultied me insta-jib style

Level 9-10 as Succubus. My team was stupid by attacking Kongor at that level with 2 enemies down so I was the only one defending against a push at middle. Chronos (not farmed and ult down thank god), Arachna and Pyromancer pushed middle hard. Smittened Chronos making him useless, mesmerized Pyromancer and dropped an Ult along with Heartache to kill Arachna. Smitten wears off and I recast it (had bottle so I could keep mana up) on Chronos while I hit Pyromancer with a heartache and avoid his attacks which eventually ends up in me auto-attacking him to death. Chronos tried running but I had gotten my team to gang up on him at this point :D. Disablers are so much fun.

I just pulled it off today:

I was Andromeda and I had Legionnaire (fed) and Behemoth chasing me. They had me down to a tiny sliver of my healthbar, and they were chasing me (bottom) to where the first tower should have been. So I used my ultimate on Behemoth (who was behind Legionnaire), and juked them. They realized it and kept chasing me - then I lead them into a 4-person gank.

In a 1800+ game a few days ago I riced a 19 minute Enhanced Marchers + Mock of Brilliance on Booboo then went mid while they pushed our tier 1 tower (their tier 1 towers was down). 1st hit entangle, dead Jeraziah, then Nymphora, Andromeda, and a lucky proc on Scout leaves me with a Quad kill.

Two things. Both started the same way. Low HP on Plague Rider, lane partner had already died. Ran into woods with 100 HP taunting them, they both followed. Ulti dead.

Second thing. Low hp on Nypmorha, Pest. and Blacksmith (both oom) come after me. Lane partner back to buy. stun, heal, still coming after me, stand their fighting a losing battle for 5 seconds, heal again, about to die 20 hp when the heal explodes double kill and I'm at full health. Then pyro cam in at 1/2 health. Stun, a bunch of creeps gave me + 120 AS. HAT TRICK.

3rd Thing. Hilarious Luck. Playing devourer. Lv 7, go to hook combo valk when my hook stops arbtruptly and kills a nighthound right in front of me. Evidently he was standing in front of me regening!

Our team has just successfully (kinda) won a team fight. Pyro and slither are pushing the enemy rax, but I decided to back since I was only at ~20% hp. Suddenly, the enemy predator (who we thought had already ran away) ambushed me from the shadows and began chasing me. Predator had greater MS than me, and slowly he began to whittle my hp down. Right when I only had about ~100 hp, in desperation, I used hold on predator. Pyro and slither got back in time... pyro used dragon fire, slither used his slow poison, and then pyro ultied predator.
The announcer then announced: GENOCIDE

My first ever! Oh I also got my first bloodlust that game too :D

Scout went invis and backstabbed me, enemy bloodhunter casted ulti on me, and enemy demented shaman popped out of nowhere and started autoattacking me. All three heroes were fairly close together, so I popped a stun then used lvl 2 ulti. 3 seconds later I hear... "SERIAL KILLER, DOUBLE KILL, HAT TRICK."The enemy conceded 5 minutes afterwords.

Me as Devourer and an ally as Andromeda. I'm running from a failed team fight with extremely low health, and am about to commit suicide with a pyromancer, MQ, and Jereziah chasing me. Andromeda swaps me into the trees north of the river, and I turn around and hook Andro up to me. We then make off like thieves in the night.

Two:
Not me, but our team was ragging on our Demented Shaman who was playing TERRIBLY all game long. Rarely throwing out heals or his ultimate in team fights, and never using his shield. After feeding them 6-7 kills, he proceeds to farm and totally neglects all team fights. We get even more pissed and get raxxed in two lanes, but still manage to hold our own. He farms a max level rift shards, hellflower, elder parasite, and a HBlade. He proceeds to win the game with 1.5K crits and silence while we get extreme lulz.

Well, as I've played DotA for a number of years, I have several stories.

Old Medusa, won numerous times 1v5 with butterfly and multiple divine rapiers after my entire team had left and they had mega creeps, only our throne left standing.

Stealth Assassin tried to kill me when I was playing Pudge. Rot, Dismember, get Rikimaru to low health, he blinks away into fog of war while invisible. Throw hook, get the kill.

Orbwalked people to half health with Obsidian Destroyer, cast Sanity's Eclipse, pentakill.

Shadowraze a bunch of people with Nevermore, blink, requiem of souls, follow with some chasing, autoattacks and shadowrazes, pentakill.

See low health Stealth Assassin with Nevermore, blink after him while he is invis, guess where he is, Shadowraze kill.

Killed numerous low-health heroes who flee into fog of war with Invoker's Sun Strike.

Dodged hooks/arrows/etc with Obsidian Destroyer's Astral Imprisonment, then turned around for triple kills.

Numerous quad/pentakills with well-placed Kraken ult, followed by Splash and Tsunami Charge chasing.

Used a Mana Battery right in the middle of Legionnaire's cast animation for his ultimate to turn it from an instant kill to a 300 damage nuke, then Tsunami Charge away to safety. Similarly, used Hellflower before on Demented Shaman to silence him out of his ultimate during the cast animation, then heal myself and own him.

Genocided enemy teams by baiting them into goblin techies stasis trap, stunning them all for 6 seconds, then planting another stasis trap immediately afterwards, stunning them again for another 6 seconds, while my team beat on them unopposed for 12 seconds.

I've played this game for too long.

The other day I decided I wanted to start playing Soul Stealer properly... its hero thats kinda fun... your either mega win or mega fail on it... and I was carrying with a score of about 15 kills 3 deaths it was going pretty nicely... and a friend on ventrillo commented on how well I was doing. "Heh, your doing awfully well, were owning them" I reply : "Yea I supose, but I wanna be one of those pro soulstealers that just seems unstoppable"

In that very instant they rush us, 2v5, He was a demented Shaman, he popped his cloud, I popped my Elder Parasite and bam... I used my ulti took them all to about 10% hp, then finished 4 of them off... QUAD KILL!

Scout tried to initiate a gank on me as Wretched Hag, I blink dodged his ulti and my whole team pops out and focus lolerpwns him in the mouth and he tried to run away unstealthed.

So there's this predator who got a little too cocky and was running away with low HP with the whole freaking team tailing him, so to save predator I (swift) run into the enemy's face and use Blade Frenzy to block them then TPing back to the 2nd mid tower when Blade Frenzy was almost done to make my own escape. Predator makes it home but while chasing, the enemy discovered one of my teammates farming neuts and proceed to chase him. I do my Blade Frenzy block again and they disperse, allowing me to kill one of them with my ult.

This other time I was magmus, was about to cast ult+blink to save a fleeing ally but then I misclicked and failed to blink. The enemy still ran in my direction and I managed to kill a few of them before using steam bath->stun->blink to get away

The First time I played EM (used swift), I was laned against scout and riki and got overfed before I even got to lvl6... Then riki starts harassing me with backstab, knowing he's nub I go to the secret shop then he pops out and whacks me in the back, I omnislash

He was lvl4 and I was lvl11...

Yeah I know most... of the heroes I pull nice moves off in haven't been ported.

I love using the Pharaoh's Tormented Soul ability. Especially when I was with Lich. Somehow, the entire enemy team was there, and Lich threw out his ulti. After a while fighting, with Lich doing the damage, they all run off. At low damage. a couple of rockets, ANNIHILATION, GENOCIDE!

I wouldnt say that Dark Lady is broken, but when you got 4 runed axes you've been let alone farming for way too long. And then it's not really Dark Lady being good, but the enemy being newbs.

Just got another one: Laneing against a scout as Night Hound. He had 2 more denies and as such was lv 6 I was lv 5 (Almost 6). He ulti'd, stealthed and started attacking me. I made it back to the tower. I was 21 HP. He chased me to tower and I played ring around the rosie, keeping the tower between us. Tower got him down pretty low and he started running, using his stealth. Tower revealed him, pounce. KO. Swiftblade comes running lv 7 from the losing end of a mid gank, having already used his ulti. Runs to outpost and starts teleing, pounce, attack dead. Douple TAP.

another game I was proud of was with 2 friends and 2 pubs, during the course of the game the 2 pubs left and we got the message that we can leave without penalty cause our allies left us. we decided to keep going, and eventually won the game 3v5 because we were able to farm up and push into their base =D (I was shaman, one was accursed, forgot what the other was.)

My friends have been able to pull off stuff I just can't even understand at times, lol. One was Kraken and was pretty much dead, and juked up into the forest above the Top Hellbourne tower~ he kept going into fog from the person chasing him, only moving back and forth getting Splash hits til they were low enough and Charged into them for the kill.

However, at one point he is being chased by a fed moonqueen past a tower, turns around at around 10 health and ultis her. When the last hit on his ulti is about to kill her, their teams pharaoh gets a rocket about a quarter of a second before moon queen dies, killing the panda, queen escaping with around...well, very low health.

We are in their Legion forest, we meet Succubus and have no clue there are 4 others. Stalagmites + Chuck + Pesti stun = dead succubus

Scout comes hitting, we kite him around abit, my chuck is off CD + pesti stun off cd. Mad Man stuns Pesti and we see jereziah getting ready for a heal. I chuck my mate to Jereziah, he heals Mad Man and misses due chuck lands on jereziah and ult + stun + nuking with Insanitarius. Meanwhile my stunn gets off CD so I can hold scout + madman.

I hit madman abit because scout has no stun. Pestilence finished Jereziah and comes to help. Stuns both (bit lucky) and ulties madman. Madman at 20% HP Runs off, I chuck Pestilence to him and he dies.

So now there's scout sitting in stealth since that is what scout do and the random hero comes. I stalagmite chuck him + pestilence stun and we kill both him and scout because he was standing next to the random hero!

My best "move" ever, was the first time i played Zephyr. It was force random pub game, and i expectet zephyr to blow. But after a pretty quiet early game, i began jungling. My team didnt mind, so i just kept jungling, and taking an creep wave now and then.
Since my tornados was maxed out, i got tons of gold from creep waves, and ended up with HotBL, behemoths heart (before nerf), shamans headress and MoB.
My team was all at the fountain due to a group clash just before, so i was all alone in top lane. I know it was risky, but i felt really confident with my new gear.
Then the hole enemy team comes jumping at me from the secret shop, and just before we engange i type "Bring it!" in chat.
The enemy team was a BS, Accursed, legio, TB and another i cant remember.
One by one they all fell down, and when only i BS was left, i leaped the ****er and got my first "annihilation".

Ally tempest vortex's 4 enemy teammates while i'm playing voodoo. Drop cursed ground asap, drop mojo on a friendly creep in the vortex, jereziah gets close and nuke-heals them, all 4 die after the vortex from cursed ground. BRAWWWWWWW. Pesti flew out as soon as he could, but he didnt get far ;)

Arriving late to a team fight as glacius, the enemy team is retreating, drop BKB and ult in the middle of the lane they're trying to escape in; hattrick!

There have been lots of good and bad games for me.. I suppose the one that most stands our right now(probably because it was recent) was a game where I was Torturer. Two things happened that game.

One thing was, when we killed Kongor, my team decided to give me the life token. So there we are, pushing bot lane. My team gets killed off(including me). Only, I come back to life and proceed to use my skills(now ready to use again) to get a double kill.

In the same match, I was chasing Swiftblade who was almost dead, but he ran around the trees from me. I guess he was either expecting me to follow him so he could ult me or something, because I desperately used his first move(the nuke+stun) where I figured he would no longer be if he had continued back onto base. Mind, I was only a little behind, but I figured he would have kept going. Then I see I killed him and couldn't believe it.

Puppet just shackled the last one and before we knew it we got a Geno with it screaming Smack Down.

Plague rider, got annihilation by using ulti when they were killing our main base.

Quad kill as swiftblade when my friend tempest ultied, I blade flurried, and swift slashed the survivors.

Barbed armor when succy held me, and a pyro ultied me. I killed the pyro, and I chased the succy long enough to kill him :P

This was a nasty one, my whole team got killed, except for me. They where pushing bot, i was pushing top. I was playing soul stealer.

I was dieing early with this game, so I bought a lot of inexpensive items, I have a headress, helm, heart, and steam boots (set on STR). This was late game, so my allies where not going to spawn for 80+ seconds.

Anyways, their team starts to chase after me, I ran around in their forest, casting my heal/damage spell every CD. Got Demented shamman to low health, ult him, killed, and ran more.. now 4 where chasing me.. I made my way to the rax, killed scout just from my Aura/heal-damage attacks. I turned and used my ulti on kracken, killed him, and started to chase after Thunder monkey. managed to kill him, so i pushed mid, killed their tower nd proceeded to win the game :)

Thank god they had no stunners.

He flicks me up over the wall... onto the tower side... then jumps over the wall stunning me, killing me at his tower... Epic FAIL!!! :(

And then playing as Pebbles, beating a hero down to 5 percent or less hp, chucking his ally at nearly same health at him while he's running, getting a double tap in the process, always makes me grin.

I was laning mid with a ranged hero, don't remember which one. I was checking bot rune and found a tablet of illusion. So I decided to gank a single hero who was near the first bottom tower as seen on the image.

So what I did was:
1. Move one illusion back to mid to make me appear to be there
2. Move the other illusion in position to catch the enemy player if he should happen to escape
3. Move into position to gank

What happened:

I initiated the gank, 1on1 and got the enemy player down to 20ish HP, but had to turn back as I as a tower dive would have killed me.

I remembered my illusion and used it to kill the enemy player when he was on his way to base.

Edit: I had no idea that this tactic would actually work when it happened :D

As Sand Wraith, with us (Legion, don't remember heroes) trying to gank Chronos and Night Hound. NH and Chronos kill 1 and 3 others run away due to low HP. By this time i was at 50% health and Chronos and NH were about 20%.
I use Desert's Wrath to quickly get some damage on Chronos, when Night Hound Pounces on me, reducing my HP to about 30%. Then Chronos's stun procs, and i'm all like "Oh ****, i'm dead." But, i manage to kill Chronos by auto attack, and i run away due to Night Hound still slashing my back. Then the unthinkable happens.

sorry guys that ain't nothin. I push slardar (pestilence) all the way to mid 2nd tower, fight 3 v 1 (defiler, maliken, and ophelia). Kill all them with properly timed stuns and magic immunity (shrunken head). I am then noticing my health is lowered to a considerable amount (pretty much going to die in one hit) I then noticed arachna chasing me I am outside its range for the time being. Luckily enough there is an illusion i attack the arachna, my main guy (not the image) is attacking it still. I take one of the illusions and run it off into their jungles. Thusly fooling the arachna into following it, then I run and taunt at my enemy and they realize it's too late.

Nothing but another day's work.

I decide I don't like the idea so I call everyone to our shrine, cast Whirlpool, and teleport to the tower being attacked. They gather around the teleport to immediately gank me and whirlpool finishes right when I make the port, grabbing their entire team 5 towers deep into our base.

The rest is very boring, genocide, we make a push and end the game.

Edit: I'll just add a triple "oneshot" using Dark Lady with Riftshards(4) and Runed Axe. Got lucky and crit 4 times (1100,950, 800, 700) in a single charge and the splash damage killed everything including the 3 attacking heroes.

You're correct, this is an intentional mechanic to prevent abuse.

There are two things going on here:

1. If you teleport too far away from the whirlpool (such as using a homecoming stone) the whirlpool is simply removed and the skill is cancelled
2. If you move above a certain threshold (I think 3000 or 3500) it'll automatically trigger (to prevent abusing portal key/charge/short-range home coming stones to cover a lot of distance)

Earlier in the beta, before these changes were put in, it was entirely possible for Kraken to pull players from the 2nd tower to behind the base towers (by the tree/hellshrine). This is simply more distance than we wanted this skill to reliably cover.

Other game I were a well farmed Puppet Master, been a back-and-forth pushing game, enemy team just retreated from base after a push, we decided they were doing Kongor. I ran there stealthed, found there overfed/farmed magebane soloing kongor. Kongor was allmost dead, I sat up my doll and 1 shotted Magebane and took the token :).

On DotA, I was playing Earthshaker (Behemoth) and a Broodmother was pushing the top lane tower with huge amounts of spiders. All game Brood was talking trash. I said to my friend, "Watch this."

I blinked in, used ultimate, and then just laughed at the instakill and huge amount of lag it caused.

me and my friends were playing a fun game against some randoms where i was nymphora where this epic event took place.

late into the game me and this puppet master get ahead of ourselves and push the top lane a little too far (around where the outpost is). Sensing an incoming gank i yell at my friend to take cover into the trees, because unfortunately, my senses were right. A fissure from a blood thirsty but also blind behemoth zips past us as we run into the outpost for safety. I command my puppet master friend to hold my hand, as I begin to teleport, at this moment he is literally shitting his pants as behemoth, hammerstorm, and two other enemy heroes are advancing towards our location. I chant and I pray as fast as I can for what may have been the longest 4 seconds of my life, and just as the enemies close in from the fog and hammer is ready to hammer us to the grave.... it was silent. We are back at the base, having just narrowly escaped our horrendous ordeal. My friend looks and me and I look at my friend, only looks are exchanged as no words are needed to be said to describe how epic our escape really was.

We were both level 9. I had just bought my portal key, so I had a sheild, regular boots, and my portal key. She was pushing bottom tower all by her lonesome with a decent sized push and nobody there to stop her. Portal Key, Taunt, and before the taunt even faded I had done 3 or 4 whirling blades that put her at like 30% health. I proceeded to kill her with my ultimate before she even had a chance to do anything.

Erm, about the Sand Wraith trick: I had an Iron Shield (probably nulling enough damage to help me survive, since i had fairly good HP regen and i only checked my HP after i stopped laughing hysterically, making it look like i got 0 damage). That should explain it. And i was still facing Night Hound when he pounced, (or maybe he didn't pounce?) so the Backstab bonus true damage didn't apply. I was amazed myself about how that happened.

I was getting ganked by night hound, tempest and puppet master. Tempest jumped on me first, stunning me and casting his ulti while the the others were right clicking me thinking i would die, when i was about to die ~150hp.. as soon as the ulti of tempest went off, i quickly casted my ultimate and at the same time, night hound did his smoke but since i had casted my ultimate .1 sec before his smoke, the waves went off and he got killed instantly so the smoke went off and i managed to kill the two others with my other skills and then tped out, living.

Not too amazing, but was in a game as Demented Shaman early game where Behemoth, Devourer and Electrician were fighting back our creeps at their third bottom tower, a new wave just barely arriving. Pest ulted devourer as I ulted on top of them, then jumped out of the woods and stunned all three of them along with all their creeps, drawing aggro from the tower as our creeps moved in as well. I snared Devourer as soon as the stun wore off, healed Pestilence (who was getting gripped), and just barely caught Devourer in the heal range, getting a hat trick. Even with the tower beating down on us, we both just barely escaped with around 75 health each.

They conceded around 15 minutes...

suddenly, magmus stuns me from forest, i hear madman invis, mag starts his ult i mez him. madman pops and attacks me, i smitten him. accursed show up to help, i hex him (i usually have hex by later-mid game). tort is right there behind him, i ult him...

as soon as mez wear off, my team arrives to pummel mag, madman is still beating on me doing 10 damage, accursed is now trying to save mag, i heartache tort and kill him after he take damage from allies and ult. team finally kills madman, we chase down accursed as wild soul finally comes out of the forest to help his dying team, i heartache accuresed right after his ult expires killing him. mez booboo, hex wildsoul and i end up gettigna lucky shot in delivering the final blow.

I played a 1v1 against a scout a while back. A pretty futile endeavor, but it was a challenge. Anyways... he pushed my mid raxxes down and was farming the creeps that spawned while his creeps attacked my base. He was farmed up and easily capable of destroying me if I left the protection of the towers. He just sat there and launched marksman's shots at me while I farmed up on his creeps, a stalemate of sorts.

Eventually I got Barbed Armor and waited. I had full HP, since I was by my fountain, but he managed to get pretty low. Anyway, I waited for the target above my head, counted off a couple seconds then popped barbed armor.

He killed himself :p

I lost the game, but pwning him in that way made it worth it.

I was like, shield, heal, use mana battery. Got his portal key at the 8-minute mark, then GG kids.

And my only items were a Ring of the Teacher, a Mana Battery, regular boots, and a shield.

I watched a 150 hp Wildsoul quadkill the other team by tree dodging while Booboo ripped the other team apart.Match ID please, I so want to see that!

Mine was playing Valkyrie. We were Legion pushing their top lane and we killed their 2nd tower (not the Rax tower, the one before that). They come to defend but we stomp them and a few of them get away, including Plague Rider with 1/4th hp.

I throw an arrow, basically from the left side of the valley where the the two downhills meet (the right side leads up to their base), and it goes past their tower, past their melee rax, past other heroes, and nails Plague Rider and kills him.

Another one to lol around.

I was using Hammerstorm. Hellbourne team was kinda low-leveled (22-13 killcount). They were pushing mid tower, the one near barracks. Teammate Tempest blinked in, cast ult, teammate Behe also blinked in, casted ult, I threw a hammer, and to all players' surprise, quad kill.

In an arem game, it was pretty even, we might have been outleveled by a bit.

Somebody kept on trying to vote to kick the other member(war beast I think), who they thought was feeding. Also repeatedly failed vote to concede even though the other team had one of their base towers down and all of ours was still up. We lose a large battle, then vote to conceed again, it fails so 1 of the team promptly rage quits and is soon followed by the other two.

Realized it was soon going to be 2v5, so after every character respawned, I selected them and we pushed hard center. One of the heros disconnected heros evaporated on the way. Strangely the other team was overconfident or something, so didn't come all at the same time when we hit their base. Focused fired/auto attacks, and mashed the keyboard for spells for the characters that I just inherited, pretty soon it was 2v2 and we were losing, and almost dead. noticed I missed using chronos' ulti, hit it, killed the 2 heros that were remaining. The Chronos disappeared shortly afterwards but the other guy managed to kill the two central rax in the meantime. I respawned and was selling all the items in the pool when the other team decides to concede.

I start a 5v5 ar 1600+ game, in the first 10 seconds 2 friends in our team DCed!, we start 3v5 Sand Wraith, Behe and Magebane vs Pyromancer Andromeda Scout Accursed Swiftblade. (Me playing Sand Wraith)
38 minutes later, game ends 38-0 in our favor, a total massacre, i went 17-0 magebane 14-0, behe 7-0. Destroyed their team ever since early game, in part they sucked, in part we had good comunication but damn lol
Also got quad kill a couple times, god bless Sands Ult!

1) Genocide entire team as SS twice in a row (port+ulti+nukespam)
2) Genocide an entire team of int heroes as magebane:
Blink at thunder (who was ~15% hp), bangbangdead
Blink to pyro (full hp, no mana). Quick mana check: 1k hp, 1.5k mana. Ulti-boom!
The rest were caught in the ulti on pyro, and nearly died. I finished them off with blink+ attack speed.

For those who have played dota, i found how to cancel spirit breaker's ult. Using lion i casted hex just as he targeted our troll. Somehow both SB and troll got hexed, both stayed where they were.
Another time stopped rexxar's ult with the hex, got him to waste mana and cd :D

At 40 minutes, they had 31 hk's, we had 19.
We argued, didn't play as a team, wandered off to 5v1, the whole shebang.

At 60 minutes, we were fighting against Mega Creeps, our Shrine was at 30% and they were going to do that last push.

Nope, with a divine miracle, we got a genocide.

Carry killed Kongor.

Then we destroyed middle Rax's.

Destroyed Top Rax's.

Genocide.

Oh no! Enemy creeps in our base, by immense luck, carry managed to kill them all, leaving the shrine to really low health.

When we dealt with the Bot Rax's, carry held off 2 heroes and massive amount of creeps.

Ok, seriously, match is at 89 minutes.
We both have mega creeps.
This next showdown would declare who's victorious.

We both meet at middle.. Preparing for an epic showdown.

Then...

Their Jera disconnected..

And we owned.

was playing as swiftblade the other day and my counter manedged to kill the teams arachna (over fed and at 25 while everyone else was at 19-20)

ran away with about 50 health left :D

I'm Pharaoh, one hit from death, Andromeda's about 200hp. I'm chased through the forest to between our tower outer and second tower. She's chasing to get that last hit, I time a Wall of Mummies just perfectly, it pushes Andro away from me just enough to put her out of range, and pushes her into our tower, killing her. was fun.

Aside from that, there's been a few awesome spirit snipes, all the way accross the map, but that's just luck, I take so many pot shots that sometimes they hit.

I played Sand Wraith, middle a game with a greedy scout. I run off home with low hp, maybe 200, with scout just behind me. He gets a few atts in, then with my speed bonus and slow on him, I run around a circle. Scout gets pummeled by tower and actually dies...

Same game, friendly Devourer launches a hook after a scout we're chasing. He's just turned invis with 200 hp, when BAM! Hook hits, insta kill ^^.

great WTF!! LOOOLL! moments, specially the tower kill...

All my teamies were dead, 3 heroes were together, pushing, low health, I blink in, and ulti them. Auto hat-trick. Keep channeling, Scout was there, Quad Kill! Last of their heroes come in, I freeze, slow, and Codex him. 5 kills, Genocide, all of my team buy-back, push, win. So funny.

I played a game last night with Thunderbringer... ended with opponents conceding at 30min with me on 20/1/14 after one quad kill (3 by my ulti and one more came too close to my lightning bolt ^^) I think 4 kills went to me "Scout hunting". He'd been a real pain in the ass, so I got an Eye and destroyed him :D

My other best move was with Jeraziah. We were pushing the middle, enemy heroes come try to nuke us, Pyromancer gets to LITERALLY 5HP and I heal him just in time to save him from an auto attack :D I also ended that game with 5/0/11... no deaths. I love Jeraziah, but he's a bit over the top ;)

And one more was when I took Swiftblade for the funniez. Went bottom lane with someone, was facing Night Hound and another hero. I took the whirling blades of death at level 1, the NH got too cocky and got a bit low on health very quickly, I rushed in just as he was coming in for a last hit on a creep, whirled him to death... and the game clock had only reached 2:30 :D

One time I used Jeraziah's magic immunity spell while a teammate was in midair from Pebbles Toss. It made him take 0 damage, and he got away with less than 100 hp.

I had behemoth with restoration stone.. My team was full of supporters so we had no massive damage dealers. opponent makes a rush, I escape with my port key, go heal a bit, wait till my ult is finished. ported in, did ult, restored, did ult again > GENOCIDE. It was 5v5 btw.

I'm still a newbie at this game. At about 50 games in (no Dota exp) I was playing Pestilence on the HB side bottom lane.

My partner went back to the pool to get items and I was at full HP with 2 mana pots. Our first tower got destroyed after their mid came to help them out. We were up vs swiftblade and scout.

Their scout was at 50% HP and their swiftblade was MIA. I kept targeting him to bring their creeps towards our second tower and when I had full creep support I managed to take him out.

I had about 60% HP left and started soloing as close to my tower as possible. Their swiftblade came back with full HP and I had no blights left. I did my best to deny/last hit while my laning partner decided to help out in mid.

Swiftblade comes out. We tangle for a bit but he doesn't use his spin attack too well. Eventually he gets me down to like 10% HP and chases me towards my tower when he has 80% HP or so.

Long story short he chases me right in front of our tower so I ultimate+stun him and pound on him for a bit and then somehow managed to juke him around our tower with flight while avoiding his spin attack. The tower killed him in the end literally a few units before he would have been safe from its attack.

My best blunder so far was using the puppet master's ultimate on a warlock creep instead of an enemy hero. It was funny because it was such a crazy fight (a lot of people died on both sides) and my team mates were laughing at my misclick.

I think a lot of you guys need to check your definition of "best move." There's a lot of stuff that isn't really a "move". Thunderbringer ulting 4 people to death? Luck, not skill.

Swiftblade killing someone with a counter attack? Luck again.

Healing someone when they would have died? That's your job.


Juking someone chasing you around a tower and managing to kill them when they should have killed you? That's a good move.

Me as soulstealer , the carry of the team , with electrician , pyro , hag and thunderbringer in team

They got all our raxes down , we only got their mid down untill then .
The only person i knew in my team was electrician , he was decently geared that far ( around 55 minutes in game lenght ) , the rest were kinda fail
I started going backdooring , harassing them over and over and over and over again , for 25 minutes , all my team was near the sacrificial shrine defending , they were killing all creeps over and over again all this time , and sometimes their heroes when they were not chasing me . when i died i instantly buy-back , and go back on a lane pushing it , backdooring , and so on
hag had divine in the end of the game ( farmed on creeps lol ) , they were all unkillable after 90 minutes of gametime with mega-items on them , and i kept pushing and backdooring over and over again
Untill i finaly got all their raxes down , we got mega-creeps too , my team is still in their base and i can finally take their tree down <3

Game lenght : 95 minutes

I was pharaoh , ulti-ing an arachna near the rune from the bottom lane intersection with the river . I got a kill . Not on arachna , but on a nighthound wandering on the path with low hp xD (<100 was my guess of his hp )

My team mate , plague rider was ganked in our forest ( as hellbourne ) . I was soulstealer . he only got time to pull out a nova ( don`t know its hon name ) , i pop up in between all , ulti , two intels instantly died , and i only had to handle with predator . Predator who i don`t think realised that his team mates were kinda dead xD he was trying to attack me . he was dead soon too . Hat-Trick

Ulti, blink in - instagib 2 with ult + following stun, kill 3rd with a hit - enemy scout goes invisible, kill a creep and kill scout with the aoe then chase and kill the 5th. heart was racing team were like AMAGAD on vent

Just played my best game ever. No single best move except for Tempest and I would chain our ults when I was playing Hellbringer. He would suck them in and I would pop up Malphas for a hat-trick a second later maybe 5 or so times. Towards the end I bought restoration stone and almost singlehandedly (Tempest placed his ult is all the help I had; he backed off after) caused a genocide in their base.

My most epic move of the game? 5 enemies and my as a magebane. One noob thunderbring on the enemy side runs out in the MIDDLE of the whole enemy team with approx 10% of his mana pool which was probably 2.5-3k. I blink in and ulti. Annhililation instantly as every single on the their teammates died. Even though i was farmed that game enough to slaughter almost all of them that one move mad me roflmao for the next 10 min while the other team raged about imba magebane. Good times.

Pushed a tier 3 tower by myself as Pestilence. In another lane, Blood Hunter had just died. I ganked Arachna by diving and was on about 20% health. Blood Hunter buys back and chases me as I was pretty fed.

His Hemorrhage is on cooldown, so he chases me and silences. He's getting a hit or two in. I'm down to about 5% health when the silence wears off, I stun, ult, pop Insanitarius, and rip through him in 3 hits :D

He raged saying I used hax and ragequit the game.

This wasn't really a move but more of an epic game. But since people are posting that anyways I thought I would share mine. So I'm in a 5v5, and I'm blacksmith (ogre magi). It's 5v5 (I'm hellbourne), got a wildsoul jungling so I'm getting decent exp. All of a sudden someone on our team randomly votes to kick a player on their team. A swiftblade. The vote goes through. Then the same fellow votes to kick someone on our team. Then theirs. Then ours. Then its eventually 3v2, with me being on the 3 side and one of our players (valkerie dc'd). So we vote to kick them. Now this 5v5 has turned into a 2v2. So its me (blacksmith) and magebane versus pestilence and mq. We are at quite the tower disadvantage though. They have middle broken completely, and they still have 2 towers in their middle. Top and bottom are basically equal. Magebane is quite underleveled too. We wait for one of them to go back to their base then we gank the pestilence. MQ is at the top breaking the last tower defending rax, so magebane decides to go take him on. I go start to push middle. I push it back then and break a tower, but then they push back. Meanwhile magebane has killed mq, but pesti is heading for him and mage is quite low health. So I run to try to help, and get there just in time to stun and kill pest with the help of magebane. Bane and I head to their base, and we break the last tower and both rax (its noteworthy to say that we are all lvl 21+ so the respawn times murder at this point) and then proceed to break their remaining towers and rax, leaving them with the world tree and two towers defending it. Of course we have mega creeps and they don't. Now we back off and farm. I won't bore you with the details but lets just say by the end of the farming I was carrying four doombringers, and magebane had 3. We give them a little slack and let them break our rax to give them some hope. However as bane was out and I was in the base I went to defend and was ganked by both of them, losing 3 of my four doombringers (i had one of them in my pool that I placed their prior). Now I had a looooooonnnnnnggggg rez wait time, and 200 gold short of a buyout. Mage got back just in time while our "frozen throne" was yellow hp. He scares off one of them and kills mq. Pest runs in, attacks magebane, and magebane ends up beating him with just over 50 health. I end up rezzing, and we decide to push. I've got my doombringer, and grabbed some cheese from the kongor kills and also a token of life. So bane and I run in against the two, they stun me and almost kill me but I pop a cheese with 200 health left (mind you at this point people are hitting 300-1000 a hit). I get some stuns off, and mq goes down. Bane blink dodges a stun from pesti, and then with another of my stuns pesti goes down. Our base had low yellow health and we had won. The game was a little over two hours long. Creep kills for myself was something of 300+. Kongor must have died atleast 8 or so times, and there was suprisingly only 20 or so kills for each side. With that, one of the most epic games I've played came to an end!
