i uploaded it via the ingame store and the icon becomes blue with a little white i dont know if its a permanent problem or something else... my acc icon here in forum seems ok though

My request would actually be to replace "Wobbuffet" with "Aipom" and so, replace the nickname of "CTRLALTQQ" with "FRANKIIEH". If you could adapt it all to a PURPLE THEME i would really appreciate it, with that said i meant by borders, background, nickname, etc! Thanks in Advance!

didnt save the psd but I can tell you what I did.
First I made a selection with the magic wand (W) inside the catface, then I made a new layer and the filled it with a rainbow gradient (G).
If the eyes disappeared just go back to the first layer and make a selection around them with the magic wand, and then make a new layer on and just fill the selections with the same pink color as the background.
Double click on the Rainbow gradient layer in the layers palette and go to inner shadow. now go to the eye layer and double click the layer and go to drop shadow and there you go!

I think I explained that pretty much how I did :)

ah ok, i pretty much just removed the catface, replace dthe entire backgroun with rainbows and cut out the parts i didnt want :P which made it really hard to make inner shadows around it.

I guess i eventually wouldve ended up at what you did :P

Evotech, first you must understand how "layers" working. you can have a single and simple pic and cut it to 3+ layers for example this cat:
1.background 2.face 3.eyes (4.gloss 5.Other effects)
Once you learn how to use layers properly, you will understand many things about photoshoping :P
Hinata, is the Emboss effect that u use to make something looking like it is "deep" inside something?

From my experience bevel and emboss usually just makes it "pop out".
Drop shadow and Inner shadow can make you think its either "hovering" a bit over the other parts or make it look like there is an edge

The picture is actually very small (80x80 instead of 128x128) that means that it must be increased about by 40%... Pure distortion! :( Also the name will be unrecognizable...

Try adding "Gloss" in a GIF image. While you try to make it trasparent, the gloss will be WHITE or NOTHING.
Also: Try resize one GIF with many pixels to an 128x128.
Copy and paste the origian in a new one with no coding and resize it again to an 128x128. Feel the difference!

I think GIF coding is very different between jpeg and png. So to the forums.
I don't know much about "coding" but I saw the difference while I was photoshoping!

So because GIF is "problematic" with effects, I always copy the whole pic and paste it in a brand new one (no coding).
EDIT:
v1: is a gif that i tried to add gloss, resize, round corners and saturation. (gif, saved as png in the end)
v2: the same gif that i first copied it in a none-coded brand new project, same effects (from nothing,saved to png)

Hey, I've seen some brilliant work on here, and I'm a complete perfectionist, and the fact that we gotta pay for each upload is making me a bit panicky about getting it perfect so yea. I love my nice eye catching black+red/green contrasts!

Hi can someone help me do a custom icon that has the monkey king icon (from hon newsletter) and put King on the bottom. Much appreciated!

Hi thanks for that and I might actually take that but I was wondering if you could do the face symbol only like those symbols you buy ingame shop...and add some fiery font "King" at the bottom. Thanks so much!

I use GIMP (google it, it's freeware) and i think it's easier than Adobe Photoshop
I will make again 2 versions so the hair would be clear
