Going to start building this up since I cant get enough of Photoshop lately, any tips will be greatly appreciated!

you are trying way too hard to get into the 3rds, and the results in creating a ton of negative space that can have more effect.

I just have to say the Magmus one is pretty incredible.

I like your general concepts, keep it up. Unfortunately I'm not an artist myself, so I can't give you many tips on where to improve. I might recommend making the text a bit clearer, some of them are very hard to read.
