Cross-over from general discussion:
Being an atheist gamer is very odd. My guildmates and Hon friends seem to be shocked at the idea that a gamer can be atheist. I have actually had guild members quit in WoW because it made them uncomfortable that I'm open about my unbelief. /shrug
I don't think atheist gamers proclaiming they are atheist is wrong. I see threads about catholics all day on the forums. Religious guys proudly proclaim that some god (good God, the Thunderbringer threads) or "you won't believe this priest last night in that confession chamber." This is socially acceptable. Is not me talking about how unreal some god is?
