Well i don't know if my suggestion can be applied or not. And this based on a single player without being in Clan in HoN ( i fo not know how it feels to be in clan)
Here goes my suggestion on adding a feature from the lock function. As i noticed and feel it would save the host time and all the player's time of waiting the host friend or the opponents friend. Take note that this based on random people joining without a clan & not private game...let say host got 3 friends and paying in public.
Current Situation now:-
As a host you can lock the slot and open it when a player/friend wants to join. & for the function of AB.
My suggestion of a Upgrade
Since HoN can do lots of features, why not add a few functions when you locked the slot.
here how it works: (based on Host already create the room)
1. Host lock a slot
2. Additional button/interface will appear only for host on the locked slot on the each slot
3. Once host click that button a pop up will appear similar like pressing F6 but on a smaller scale with few options on it. (Invite; friendlist, clan & "enter player name")
4. Then host can specifically add a player to the respective slot from their friend list, clan or by keying a players name (similar like fetching a players data)
5. on the person who gets the invite, they can choose to decline or accept. But if the player the host invite, automatically will inform the host that the player is in a game. and have a 5-10 seconds auto deny.
I personally think this is a great feature if HoN would to have it....it will add an additonal aset of HoN that can be talked about.
AND
It will lessen the time of players waiting for the game to start & host does not need to keep on kicking unwanted players....as players if they wait too long it will result them to join other game...
Guess this is just my humble suggestion. I dont know if its already applied...and i apologize if HoN already gave this feature at other interface...maybe someone can tell me how...Im not good in programming, so forgive me again if this thing is impossible...
So guys... hows this suggestion like??? Feel free to add any missing ideas to it....
