Some altered PogS Skins

Introduction

This is a rework(mostly recolor) of some of Pogs and some of Astrazak's skins i made.
I mostly redone them by changing the contrast and darkening or lightening some aspects of the heros, i also tried creating more fitting normal maps and team colors.
For example Pogs Flint Beastwood had amazing textures but i really didnt like the colors,
so i tried to make the skins look a bit more dark n realistic.

The little red thing on those Katanas is the japanese sign for death, altough you can't really recognize it.

I actually tried editing him, but i kinda failed, and now im using the Starcraft II Hybrid Devo Skin and im pretty happy with it. :) But i'll see what i can do ;).

Nice! Ok here we go: for Jeraziah, its just his normal armor (with that helmet with wings, not the Pogs' one, which is great, but not as nice as the original) with HD textures (including his sword) and maybe some little modifications, as you and Pog have done with the other heroes.

Now, in the Maliken's case, it is really different. He just needs a cool hair; normal eye (not that colored evil one); white skin instead of that burnt one (yea he was well burnt in hell lol); and become an archangel instead of a demon. If the archangel part is impossible, just the other parts shall be good to go already. And if you like, some minor modifications in the concept, like the other heroes have received.

But like you said, I like the Pogs' versions too, a lot!

For Maliken, if you still intend to make him redeemed, you can use this BlacRyu's model and put on him a long white hair, for example. His armor and skin are already great!

Nice stuff man, really liking the :krak: and :jera:. Just wondering I'm guessing :devo: is a little to complicated maybe but I'd love to see his Pogs skin reworked. If you do try to edit PogS skin of him one suggestion is to maybe might his skin color lighter color almost the color of your HD :krak:. Keep up the good work.

Soo i got several updates for you guys, mostly improving the face textures of heroes, so they look better when you wanna use this http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/showthread.php?t=324911 mod :)

I also changed several things on magebane, but since they released the new model which is pretty awesome i stopped working, because i dont think you still want the original model :P.

Devourer again, i just cant seem to get any inspiration to change him..
The Sc2 model is just so much better, and just by lightening his color he still looks pretty bad in my opinion..

I also dont really like the new behemoth skin, sorry... I mean he's legion and shouldnt look too evil in my opinion... but perhaps if i change alot i can make it work.. we'll see.

I will make the all-in-one-package for you guys, but it probably takes like 1 day for me to upload 200 mb, since my internet connection is pretty bad.

Anways, new update includes a new (non-hd) geomancer skin, slither improvements, new sandwraith, improvements on moonqueen, thunderbringer, torturer, pyromancer, new polly texture, improved martyr, chronos, and so on:

How do I install the complete pack? I'm putting it into the game folder but nothing happens. Do I need to extract all the heroes one by one?

I've never had issues with models before, but simply putting the all in one package .s2z under the game folder doesn't help. Extracting a specific hero folder turns that specific hero into a teacup.

If I pick the heroes one by one it works just fine, but not from the all in one package. Is it just me having this issue?

I figured out why the package didnt work.. i packed it as a .rar archive instead of .zip. Thats why hon probably couldnt open it.

New (working) package is done and i'm uploading it as soon as possible. :)

@Acnowlogia: The new package is completely up to date. The only thing not included are my building textures.
If you get messy textures theres a conflict between 2 different skins.
You should probably copy the other skin into another folder and then check the texture ingame,
cause theres some stuff included which i didnt upload pics/single files from.
Mostly Pogs/Astrazak ones i only changed a little :).
If you want to use the other skin, just open the resources1085_complete.s2z and delete the folder named by the hero you dont wanna use,
then copy the other skin into hon/game again ;).

BUT if you download the package, you can simply open it with winrar, go into the heroes folder, and delete the guys you dont want. ;)

It's because trash-hon uses so much memory now that you cant play with all skins(or the package) activated anymore ^_^.

Its so awesome that i can play a completely full HD Skyrim on almost max settings and it uses less ram than hon :).

Dont think ill make any more HD skins anytime soon. I'm pretty sick of this game at the moment..

It depends if you have enough memory (64bit with 8gigs of ram) should be fine any amounts of HD skins but a (32bit system with up to 3gigs of ram) will probably crash after 1 game?

That's toldly cool bro but there is some problems i spotted when im ingame. And they should fixed asap cuz they are really important issues. For example when ra reborn with his ult you cant see him anymore? And when gladiator placing his first skill you cant see his hand spotting the point. For that reason i lost 1-2 games ^^. Hope it will be fixed soon. (Current version:2.5.9)
