Sil ulti disjoints rune effect

Is silhouette's ulti meant to disjoint rune effect? It doesn't make any sense in my eyes, and have got me killed thousands of times cause i tend to forget.

It doesn't "disjoint" a rune effect, that's impossible because runes aren't projectiles.

It is meant to dispel StatusBuffs & StatusDebuffs though.

What about "swapping" after?

1) Say, I use ulti - Press R
2) Pick up DD
3) Swap to ulti illusion - Press R

4) ???? (Do I still have DD?)
