- Fixed lifesteal to not lifesteal on gadgets and chests. Also fixed lifesteal so it won't play a sound unless you validly lifesteal a unit. The following things are affected by this change:

* Elder Parasite
* Hungry Spirit
* Symbol of Rage
* Whispering Helm

- Vulture Lord's Tornado now goes through trees and cliffs

* 600 Range, 30s cooldown
* Deals your attack damage to target on impact
* Can still target a tree to kill it and only has a 15 second cooldown if targeting a tree
- Retains passive

:Insanitarius: Insanitarius
- Now has a short 500ms cooldown when toggled on

:NomesWisdom: Nome's Wisdom
- Aura radius from 800 to 900

:NullfireBlade: Nullfire Blade
- Upgraded version has infinite charges
- Cooldown increased from 12 to 20 seconds

:PlatedGreaves: Plated Greaves
- Radius from 450 to 600

:HomecomingStone: Homecoming Stone
- Fixed a bug where you can infinitely disarm a tower with Post Haste

:Puzzlebox: Puzzlebox
-Added visual timer on the item so you don't have to select the minions to see their lifetimes

:RefreshingOrnament: Refreshing Ornament
- Aura radius to 900

:RestorationStone: Restoration Stone
- Mana cost reduced from 375 to 300

* Movespeed modifiers linger for 1 second
- Reflection
* Now has treewalking
* Now grants Fayde 1200 clearvision while stealthed by Reflection
* This sight lingers for 2 seconds after exiting stealth

:flux: Flux
- Optimized his Magnetic Surge and Discharge by removing superfluous checks & improved algorithms
- Tweaked Magnetic Surge & Discharge pushes to be more accurate
- Reduced the sound on his Polarity Swap modes by a factor of 4
- Made Discharge give assists
- Dampened Flux's & Steam Flux's walk and regular attack sounds
- Fixed tooltip on Release to show radius correctly
- Made Discharge unbind so it stops interacting with projectiles very (VERY) poorly

:fors: Forsaken Archer
- Call of the Damned Skeletons TP with FA
- Split Shot reworked to basically be ranged cleave
* Main target takes full, 2 additional targets take 14/21/28/35% damage

:gaun: Gauntlet
- Infernal Instability grants 40 Movespeed at all levels instead of 10/20/30/40
- Grapple slightly increased touch radius to 80 from 75
- Enfeeble is no longer an Attack Modifier
- Capped the charges on Enfeeble to prevent rollover
- Fixed a bug with Gauntlet Blast where it was waking people up incorrectly

:hell: Hellbringer
- Life Void damage healed from 10/20/30/40% to 15/20/25/30%
- Added visual timer to Summon Malphas

:jera: Jeraziah
- Inner Light from True Damage to Magic Damage
- Inner Light radius from 250 to 300

:legi: Legionnaire
- Tower attacks may now proc Whirling Blade

:magm: Magmus
- Fixed Eruption to play the animation correctly

:mora: Moraxus
- Matraxe now has a small cooldown after activation on it
- Quake stun duration from 1/1.5/2.0/2.5 to 1.75/2.0/2.25/2.5
- Fixed his attack animation not playing while he has Arcane Shield up (before absorbing a spell)

:noma: Nomad
- Fixed his Mirage Strike illusion from spamming attack commands
- Fixed the Mirage Strike illusion playing the "ZING!" charge initial sound twice if the unit is invulnerable before the illusion gets a chance to attack

:nymp: Nymphora
- Fixed Volatile Pod visual lasting for 1 second more than it should.

:pand: Pandamonium
- Cannonball stun duration from 0.75/1.25/1.75/2.25 to 1.5/1.75/2/2.25

:phar: Pharaoh
- Tormented Soul manacost increased from 50/50/50/50 to 50/55/60/65

:poll: Pollywog Priest
- Added visual timer to Voodoo Wards

:pupp: Puppet Master
- Cleaned up scripting for Puppet Show
- Fixed the Puppet Show's target from spamming attack commands every frame since it messes with pathing
- Voodoo Puppet health from 450/700/950 to 500/750/1000
- Voodoo Puppet decreased damage amp from 160/180/210 to 140/160/180
- Voodoo Puppet overkill damage is still transferred to target, but not amplified

- Fixed a mod exploit

- Vanish no longer loses 'Flurry' when Invisibility is manually disabled

- Fixed her Grapple from interacting badly with Bubbles's Take Cover

- Added a targetradius for the tooltip of Poison Spray
- Removed 10% movement slow from Toxicity
- Toxicity is no longer an attack modifer
- Toxicity's regen disable from 40/60/80/100% to 20/40/60/80%

- Demon Hands manacost increased from 75 to 80

:succ: Succubus
- Mesmerize manacost reduced from 165 to 130/140/150/160

- Lightning Rod damage from 5/7/9/11% to 3/5/7/9%

- Chain Reaction manacost increased from 100/125/140/165 to 120/135/150/165

That's one hell of a patch ! Freaking best patch in ages as far as I'm concerned.

Test feedback :

Are Hatchet and Cleaver supposed to share the same cooldown ? 30 seconds if Hatchet used for a last hit on both.
Deep Shadows could use a radius indicator just like most AoE spells. Was expecting something more original. :(

From my perspective, probably the best balance patch S2 have ever released. So many subtle yet really good changes.

Interested to see how Panda, DL and Chronos buffs turn out. FA split shot change so huge.

Finally you bothered to fix :fayd:! About time, but good job fixing her none the less! Not sure of her balance now but the changes seem to be great so far.

Interesting changes, some buffs, some nerfs... Nullfire blade ultrabuff will be target of many discussions, I think.

And nice rework to Fayde. Time will tell if this rework will give her a bit of glory...

PD: Frostburn now core on Slither, I think.

Nice buffs and nerfs. Good that bubbles was nerfed, he was too good imo. Andro nerf seems okay, though she isn't much used in pubs. Tort nerf does seem over the top, but we'll see.

This logger change might make melee carries more useful! Cool... brb gonna sc00t soon.

To all of the people complaining about the changes:

1) TB had to get nerfed. He will still do HUGE damage, but this little bit should help dealing with him
2) Bubbles nerf - well deserved. Please be honest - once you got PK on him you couldn't kill him unless you got him stunlocked to death or you had mock. Well deserved imho.
3) Tort - after buff to his stun that made it possible to land agains non-sleeping enemy he was way to strong.
4) Slith - nerfs well deserved as well.
5) Pharo - good nerf. Flare was way to powerfull early game.
6) Andro - c'mon how many times have you seen lvl 8 andro saving lvl 16+ cary every time it was needed. Her ult is very strong and longer CD at lower level will make her balanced.

All of those changes (along with the buffs) possibly will change competetive scene. Aren't you tired of seing same heroes like 90% of the time?

BTW, I want to check Axe change since it looks like really cool item for early-mid game.

Now I don't play Bubbles much but I don't understand why so many people are crying about his Take Cover 'nerf'. Now you just PK in and Shell Surf out instead of the other way around. How is this a nerf ?

bubble nefr - cry cry no skilled players. this hero was imba highlender with pk(unkillable to any nomber of opponents). still strong.
tort nerf ( one of my fav heroes btw) - a bit sad but... not so much. fair mcost is good .
jere nerf - valid.
fayde - pure sex. a bit op i think, but fun to play though. mana efitiency up/ dmg up/ chace-run capability up/ ulty up.

some of the changes like pharaohs small increase in manacost in tormented souls arent that bad.

but holy hell, huge nerfs to slither...he is chosen a lot because of his early game harass, and that 10% movement slow being removed is a huge nerf. how many times must slither be nerfed now?

tort nerf WAS definitely needed, and if you deny it, you are a moron. I have tort as one of my most played heroes, because tort was TOO STRONG early game and could dominate. Any competent tort player could dominate solo mid and take down the tower fairly fast.

this tort nerf, although not that big imo, is still needed to help slow down the snowball effect of the hero in the early game.

Since Nullfire no longer propagates to illusions, it won't be imbalanced if the mana burn from Mana Combustion and Nullfire stacked on Magebane and would give him an alternate build path that isn't too inefficient.

There is only one thing that I didn't like on this patch, and it is the fact that I can not spawn alt avatars on the practice mode anymore, thats pretty lame, as I would test them out using the ingame zoom in/out feature to have a closer look at the models, test their animation when using skills or walking and comparing them with the original models.... well, well, nothing can be 100% perfect but u people are almost there! For those of you wondering about the andromeda changes, Andromeda is one of, if not THE, most picked/banned support in the game for a reason.

Also, I don't mind the torturer changes that much. You have to realize that his spells were quite spammable despite their ridiculous strength and versatility. Agonizing bonds was very strong (and still is) and was completely spammable. Due to this, torturer was practically unbeatable in a lane, be it trilane or solo. Any other hero was that strong a spell has 1/3 of his mana burned with each use.

Jere's changes weren't too bad. He got a range buff which is nice. Above all, it is a heal. Those of you looking for a first blood with a super strong aoe heal/nuke wont have the same dmg but youll have the range.

Slither is also one of the strongest laners in the game due to his harrasment with toxicity and such. The nerfs are welcome.

The bubbles change is somewhat strange but wont have too much of an effect. I think s2 should implement the puck change in the recent dota patch which makes his lvl1 silence duration 1 second instead of .1. Nonetheless, bubbles is still one of the strongest gankers/initiators in the game.

These changes help competitive scene in a sense that they encourage more unique team structures. You practically see the same heroes every other game. Those of you complaining that it "breaks" competitive play, all the patch helps to do is shake up the static nature of tournaments. You may feel safe and comfortable watching the same heroes in every match, but I for one invite clans to try different things, rather than rely on the same key picks to win games.

Im completely disappointed with fayde... her 3rd ability is trash looking and doesnot fit the character, animation is just a fail, though she becomes a bit more useful as the game goes on she also becomes much weaker in early game especially her solo mid is broken for now - overall making her weaker with rework. you could buff it to be same damage block + some aura, no matter offensive or defensive type. Buff on ulti is unnecessary and retarded.

bubbles with PK was just accepted, doesn't mean it was balanced. It was so broken with shell surf take cover and pk. A good player is pretty much immortal with that.

(PK will still be core, you just have to take cover a fraction of seconds sooner to portal out)

Very good patch from the looks of it. I don't think there is a single in change in the patch that I don't understand balance-wise.

I'm only slightly disappointed there were no changes to Tremble, Nomad and Silhouette, but I guess that can be due to the fact they are still relatively new and you are still in the process of working out possible changes on the test servers.

At least you guys earned some of my respect back that was lost by the disappointing honiversary patch.

And no, the bubbles change does not make pk useless. TC may not synergize as well with pk but you have to remember that pk's main strength is that it gives bubbles godly initiating powers. pk in, combo, and shell out. This has not changed. Pk is still core.

LOL! 50 range is nothing... and the dmg will suck anyway when you do get that rare occation where 50 range really does make a difference.

Kind of a huge nerf to slither.

Slither was already not a super powerful hero and now toxicity only lowers healing to 80%.

That means you can now port scroll back to base if you get ulted and dotted and the fountain will save you, whereas before if you got toxicity on you you would die since the fountain didn't heal until it was off.

Seems to me like S2 just nerfed some of the most popular/strongest picks in the competitive scene ATM like :tort: :andr: :chip: and :phar:, by increasing their cooldowns/manacost on their spells. IMO this is the wrong way to do it, just buff the non-viable picks a bit, like you did with :fayd: (although I haven't seen her in action yet), and It'll all even out in the end.

Also, I'm suprised to see such a harsh nerf to :andr: and such a modest one to :hell:... and by modest I mean its a buff. This guy is PERMAbanned... and I guess if you guys are fine with that then leave him as is. The rest of the patch really seems like you guys had the competitive metagame in mind though, which is very very impressive and appreciated. Overall great patch.
