i normally go with rift and savage but i found that i stomp pubs with this

whatsup with helm on glad? seems like everyone gets it except me, thats like 2000 gold wasted that could be used to get a shroud for gankin

shield+hatchet+runes
Steam+hotbl
Shroud or/andShruken head(depending on the enemy team)
Riftshards
Behemoths

i usually find hatchet is almost never necessary unless you are facing pebbles or something.

i prefer phase boots since he really doesnt benefit much from attack speed and the unit walk is too good to pass up for optimal whip positioning.

helm is good if you plan on having an active mid-game
but even then sometimes i feel like it isnt necessary since you basically use your most important spells from the distance.

shroud is great on him for the bonus damage to whip purpose. once you get shroud and level 4 riftshards, rng can turn the game around for you.

i like shrunken as a late luxury or savage mace.
doombringer if you are confident (or you are down 2 racks and you need drastic measures to come back)

Runed Axe -> Disassemble into nullstone , shroud, riftshards is boss as hell. Then stack riftshards.

Or, helm -> split into runed axe + heart, go runed axe split then go DB instead. Complete Behes before DBs.

Pretty sure you can only stack rifts of different levels, which is kindof pointless anyway
Hero has a built in runed axe
Shroud helps him kill + live better than farming with a runed axe does.

get shroud, keep roaming and get more epic
get riftshards lvl 4, laugh at your enemies
get savage rofl at your enemies.
