View Full Version : [Other] Constant disconnects while being in MM queue

I started playing earlier today and the game worked perfectly fine. But suddenly after few matches my friends started seeing me log off as soon as game is about to start (after waiting on queue for MM). I've never had this issue before.
And this happens all the time now. I can't play anymore. When I solo join I only get "you have been disconnected from the matchmaking" after sitting in the queue for a while.

I'm not using wireless connection and it's an iron solid 100mbit. I would've noticed if my internet dropped because I'm running second MMO on another screen, and it's behaving fine. This is definitely HoN only issue, and I have no idea what started it because it happened all of a sudden.

Public games work fine.

I have tried restarting my pc, reinstalling the game, nothing helped. I'm not using any mods except few hero textures (which never caused any problems).

Wow, I forgot completely that I joined MM and just went on to do something else, I tabbed back to game and saw this:

Is there any chance I can get help here from S2? This is a game made by you, I'm not expecting help from other players.

Hmmm I was suddenly able to join one MM game, where someone dropped (me?), and it's again not working.

We need a console.log uploaded and posted as explained in the wiki. And we also need your hardware specs.

It seems to have fixed itself for the moment.

And I have the same problem again! This has never happened before (besides now and few days ago), and I've been playing HoN since closed beta.

have you tried turning off anti-virus and software firewall?

I will try.

I turned off windows firewall, uninstalled my antivirus, restarted my pc and - it didn't help.

do you have an up to date network or motherboard driver?

Reaper

Would that make any difference? I never install motherboard or network drivers. I didn't have problems like this at all since I started playing HoN some 17 months ago. My Windows (7 64bit) is up to date. This just started happening after playing few games.

Well, I did it anyway, latest motherboard and ethernet drivers and no change.

What servers are you attempting to play on and where are you located?

I'm in Sweden, trying only to play on EU servers. But it's working again it seems.
It's kinda lame, I don't want this to keep happening.
What is causing the problem? I appreaciate help from other players, but does S2 even have their own tech who helps out?

Bump.
Just because it's working now doesn't mean the problem wont come back. In fact it already happened before so it's safe to assume it will happen again!

could you try this page when you got these dc's again. http://forums.heroesofnewerth.com/wiki/index.php/Network_Quality_Diagnostics

Woot, I tried pinging all those servers 500 times each but gave up after 2 of them. It takes too long.
The game is working for the moment. I tried turning off my router firewall, so far I've been 100% successful getting into MM games. We'll see if it stays that way.

It could be an SPI (flood detection) firewall getting in the way, somehow.
