Recently I have seen a lot of people pulling neutrals to creep waves but then stopping the creeps having vision of the neutrals, causing the creeps to bypass the tower or the opposing sides creeps. Is this legal or exploring a bug.

It's a ''game feature'' :D

You can easily rake up some good gold on a legionaire with that strategy. You just have to react to it quickly and it won't hurt you much at all.

Do you have a video of this in action? The only thing I can imagine is Behemoth's fissure forcing the creeps to the second tower. It sounds like it's pretty difficult to pull it off exactly as planned.

I've got a couple of replays with it. I'm more interested in whether this is allowed. Apart from having the creeps run back to their original point I can't see a way to fix it. This wasn't using behemoth btw but does the same thing

Sounds more or less like a failed attempt of pulling neutral camps. But then again it could be another form of creep skipping...

Yea that is pretty much what it is

Creep skipping- Taking enemy creeps, most usually between enemy towers and well outside of their attack range, allowing your creeps a direct route into the tower itself.
Creep pulling- Pulling a neutral camp into the lane as to attain creep aggression, usually as a supplementary farm source.
What you're talking about isn't actually one or the other. If there's a term for what you mentioned I sure don't know what it is.
