Hey guys.

I've collected some cool high quality Duke Nukem quotes and put them together in this awesome announcer pack. Some original sounds were left unchanged to not ruin the game (barracks under attack etc.). The only sounds replaced are related to hero kills - and i must say there are some funny ones in between (probably some new ones you haven't heard before).

Go ahead and try it for yourself!

Changelog:
Version 1.0 (01-05-2011)
- All announcers related to hero kills have been altered
- Reverts all custom announcers to the default one (graphic and text only)

To do:
- Fix overlapping announcer sounds when nemesis, payback or ownage is occurring.
- Rearrange some of the sounds according to feedback (if needed)

Suggestions and criticism is welcome! Just keep the feedback somewhat constructive please :)

I am currently uploading to youtube :D The preview is amazing - i put Megadeth's Grabbag cover in the background - it really gets you in the Duke Nukem mood again :D Link will be added to thread asap.

Oh - the crackling sound is some sort of bug in the video only - this is NOT in the game.. damnit i'll have to redo the video then ... sigh

Yeah it's a shame, but the announcer in-game is good. :p
I just miss the signs somehow.. (like Quad Kill etc.)

Download the file from the link above and open it with any archiver (7zip e.g). There you will see an .xml file. Extract that file and open it with a notepad. Within the file find the line in the beginning, which says appversion = "2." and change it to appversion = "3." - this will eliminate the problem. Now put the .xml file back into the .honmod archive and when it asks if you really want to replace the old file - click "yes".

Done. Enjoy.
