Tbh, the first time i saw this thread, i was pretty happy as i've had many ideas in the past, since i was a map creator in Warcraft 3.

That aside, I've come to realize many players don't wish to read. They like everything with as few words as possible, otherwise they skip over things. Fair enough not everyone has the time, but how would you introduce a complex system, compared to one that is simple and direct?

I have a vague idea as to a change to just static voting yes/no, regardless of the above situation. My suggestion is, could there be anyway a "selection committee" or something similar comprised of various people be elected, and their votes or feedback count higher then just a single vote average user vote?

Just curious on what other people think about this, then again if the above happen, many just might skip this post ~

Another suggestion would be to split the forums up into sub forums from - AGI Ranged AGI Melee ITEMS etc...

we already have a committee that decides whether they go from popular suggestions to top suggestions. You can't be too elitist in this case, most of the people voting would have about the same intelligence as the average player.

Indeed you have a committee that decides that, but as u state "same intelligence as the average player" doesn't always cut it with things that are thought out of the box, for example - player comments on if X happened then it wouldn't work, OP comments back that X can never happen and is stated in the description, next post has the same gist different wording (player comments if X happens then he wouldn't like it).

Just i see very little point in spam bumping ones thread, in hopes that people would read it as many have done, which i have slowly started to follow suit.

The bureaucracy is necessary to filter out the bad stuff. Good ideas will be seen, regardless of what level they're at.
