Long Story Short She's Not That Good Of A Hero Right Now And Is Relatively Hard To Play Well.

anyways she is very hard to play, she needs alot of farming but she has no real farmingskill But she can beat most heroes if she gets items like:

Flayer
Symbol of rage
Wingbow
Runed Axe
Shieldbreaker
Enhanced marshers

thats like 20k+ gold right there thats why no1 plays here..

no farming ability; (until she can 1 shot creep waves with runed axe)

keep in mind that runed axe costs 875 + 875 + 1400 + 1200.. that is very hard to farm against a serious team

dark lady is just a farmer in any lane she goes to, she doesn't provide much to the lane other than her slow

She is a hard carry and thats why no1 likes her. as said before she NEEDS items to become good, where as get some1 like Swiftblade (easy carry) who has skills that don't NEED items to be worth it.


Compair her to Madman (IMO they are most alike). Madman NEEDS dmg items to be good, Dark Lady needs Attack SPEED items to be good.

If she is played well, and gets the farm tho, she is freaking unstoppable.

Hard carry that actually requires someone skilled to play properly. That's why. If you don't know how to rice and manage your mana properly you will fail with Dark Lady, that simple. Most people don't meet those qualifications.

Dark Lady is one of the only heroes I havent actually tried because every time I have seen her played (Out of 150¬) games, she either feeds or is just generally not as good as other picks. Although there have been games where I have seen her own, that is generally due to someone on the opposite team feeding her.

No one picks DL cos she's useless early and mid game. To top it off, she's only useful late game IF she managed to not die early game.

I have seen the odd good dark lady, but they're few and far between, and if someone is good on dark lady they would be great on a better carry.

The one thing I do like about her is using her ult defensively, if a tower is getting pushed and you're on the run, her ult can really strike fear into a team even if they have nothing to worry about. I have seen teams run from a 5v2 due to the ult because they just didn't know what was going on.

personally i think she is very good. while yes, weak early game, and sometimes middle, she is great for ganking. she can blink in, silence, and then the increased damage seals the deal. i can kill before then know im there.

Depending on starting gold (3 vs 5 players) i go for the health tube, health potions, logger's hatchet, and maybe a homecoming stone. The logger's hatchet is great for getting more gold as it allows for great early damage to creep. My next priority is manatube and enhanced marchers. The added attack speed is a huge help. beyond that i go for wingbow, it gives survivability, damage, plus great attack speed. After that, go for items that will help counter whatever the other team is doing. (stun if they are faster, etc.) any other ideas for item builds?

Not really, because then you have one less badkid to worry about when you stomp their team. Only idiots get owned by "premades" because only idiots play with randoms without checking if they are actually good or not.

If played right, her silence (bwahaha dancing blades you're all speechless!) can lend quite a bit to a team battle. The ultimate is decent, but the most impressive aspect of it isn't even on the tooltip. Losing linked vision and having your own sight reduced is pretty spooky for an organized team. Even a hard push can be scattered just by tripping your ulti, and it's even better if you use it as an initiator.

She's something of a support that can turn into a hard carry.

She is a decent hero. One combo I like with her is using elder parasite (+100 attack speed), activate dark blades (I think +130% dmg), and then teleport in with charging strikes. Its a devestating combo since you silence your enemy and then rape them with uber fast attacks.
