How to counter Zephyr 1v1?

I've tried a few tactics - most notably Jereziah, which basically meant he couldn't kill me because I countered his mock and tornadoes with prot charm, but then he was simply able to push faster and defeated me that way. Is there anything that I can do to counter him?

Elec is not better than anyone 1v1, he can't do any damage

becuz Elec eats her alive, and is among the best 1v1 heros possible

12% maximum mana drain every 15 seconds ontop of grip dmg(bothing being AOE allowing for CS while disabling) while costing most of the time Zero mana in the process is devastating.

all Elec needs is to is endure a succ combo once and she has nothing left, otherwise she has to deal with 400+ incoming dmg every 14-15 seconds while losing HP/MP in the process.

Poormans sheild for her negleable auto attack damage and stack up on regen(Hood,Nullstone,Shiva's) and she is beyond worthless

in general Nullstone or bkb on a dps hero destroy's her, Hint Delifer


Edit: Elecs Reign of Terrorspam begins at lvl 2... GL with those expensive succ nukes at lvl 6+ assumming u even make it there

The succubus has to be pretty bad to die to an electrician 1v1...but I do agree that the electrician can shut her down.

she is more frail that most people let on, more so when her mana is the one that is vulnerable

The problem with electrician and succubus is that while they can probably quite easily defeat Zeph before he gets close, they then have the problem of pushing, which he can do so very easily and quickly and they aren't able to do (even if you do farm a mock/runed axe).

Elec can Pinch entire creep waves with ez making his push power on par with pinch heros axe/zeph/etc

i think the concept of total lane control is fleeting here or this thread is full of EM players

Funny this came up... Yesterday i was in a game playing Jeraziah vs Zephyr 1v1 bot lane. I was Hellbourne. I just let him come to the tower and i would autoattack while the tower attacked him. Then when i got low and he was around 400-500 health, i would use my heal, and just finish him with autoattack.

You should try pulling zephyr to your fountain next time. It does even more damage.

If you can end the game fast enough maybe, he's not great later game because zeph can **** his positioning and null his ability to get nukes off (which is primarily where his power comes from early-mid game)

SS is an incredible 5v5 hero, he's okay at smaller games but too squishy. You also can't really farm quite as fast due to the smaller creep waves and less heroes to roam and gank. Ganking zephyr on SS is a real pain in the ass if he is paying any attention, and he will undoubtedly outfarm you.

Well, there's not much else you can do that I can think of. You could pick a really hard carry (Chronos comes to mind) and try to last long enough to win, but that doesn't sound likely to me.

Or just don't play 1v1, because its essentially rock vs. paper vs. scissors vs. BFG once anyone realizes how good zephyr is at it.
