Hey guys!

We got some different server boxes up and running now that we hope will be better for you guys. Please repeat the previous process for the new servers marked BR:

1. Find them by going to create public game, and Select Server-> Browse
2. Arrange the server names alphabetically and find BR, note the ping to the BR servers
3. Arrange ALL servers by lowest ping, and tell us what the servers you get the lowest pings to are.
4. Post back here in this thread with what your ping to the BR servers is and what the BEST servers for you are. Screenshots are great too.

Please, only Brazilian/SA players post here with requested information. Anything otherwise will be deleted, and intentional trolling by people not playing from Brazil/South America will result in an infraction (yes, we can track IP locations).

I think this will never work, a Chilean friend of mine explained to me that south american ISP's have to go through the US before reaching the actual destination.

That's not always true. People from Brazil can get a ping of 20, 30, 40ms if the server is really on Brazil because it's local. I know this because I play in another program called ggpo which is for fighting games, and brazilians play each other with these pings.

Also, if you have certain ISPs and/or connect under certain IP ranges you can have low pings with some countries in South America, like Chile, Peru, Brazil, as long these are interconnected with the same submarine cable that goes through the edge of the continent. Some ISPs in South America are interconnected this way, that's why you can only get those low pings with certain ISPs and/or IP ranges.

They recently reached an agreement with ISGaming (Africa) and IPGN (Australia)

WTF S2 if you put the BR server in USA this is something obvious we south American ppl will have bad ping, this is a Distance fact! Get out some money you make with the Store Shop and put servers in BR (or better in Argentina ^^).

Yes S2 please, open servers REALLY located in Brazil. I know BR servers are expensive but you have money for that. Believe me, there's not much difference playing with 150 or 230ms ping. We have packet loss either way.

Other than that, all USE servers have the lowest ping for South America, something between 150-170ms.

I was thinking about update a ScreenShot, but some peoples already did it. The USA Server is the best option. Two years ago, I used to play another game that had a Server on Terra (www.terra.com.br) and it was the best ping ever! I had an awful connection that didn't reach 600Kbps and still my ping was close to 40ms.
The think is: We have a lot of taxes, so u guys should try some country close to here.

First off, I think you should stop whining about not getting enough attention in BR/SA it seems like S2 is trying to set something good up for you. It may just take some time.

Eventually people who enjoy that will get high enough MMR's or PSR's that they either won't be able to find BR scrubs to stomp or no one will let them in their game. Stompers can of course just reset stats or smurf to keep stomping but there's not really anything to do about that and it's as big a problem for all other servers :)

Please note that most of the brazilian players just play on match making, and I if you are willing to place a server in brazil make sure that Match Making will also have the Brazilian servers in it...

Otherwise I'd rather play MM with 200ms on USE servers and troll our american friends then play with 20ms Public Games with my brazilian troll comrads...

I've talked with Shawn(Toolz) and he said that one box(server) can handle 15 games at the same time..

I mean, of course have more south americans than 1 box, sooo.. they should at least do 2/3 box for MM and the rest for the public.. I agre it would be awesome =)

Really... i was in New York Last year , and i remember playing hon on my laptop with 33 ms...
oh man... i couldn't last hit because im used to play with lag .. lol!

when they put the real BR servers on you will see the diference, i guarantee!
