All right, so I've tried a lot of things with this to verify that it's not the microphone but indeed the game not accepting my mic. I'm starting to think it's something in the audio coding of the game that doesn't like my current audio system. Here's why. My friend who plays the game with me currently uses the same headset as me (Earforce X11 Turtle Beaches). His in game voice chat works fine and is really clear, however mine will not, either with PTT or Active Voice. I've tried changing the hotkey and that does not seem to work as well. I don't even get an indicator. Microphone test doesn't seem to be registering anything either. I have confirmed the microphone does indeed work as it works on my Xbox 360 as well as on Skype (which I do not have loaded while playing this game, so it's currently not the program the microphone is registered while performing these tests). My audio drivers all up-to-date. Could anyone possibly take a look into this and tell me what's going on? I'll get console logs, system info, anything you need, I just want to get this fixed.
Edit: It seems as though while in a Skype call, while pressing "T" the microphone works in game, oddly enough. I don't know what would cause this, but it seems to only activate while in a call with someone on Skype.
